O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner.

And one who invites to Allah, by His permission, and an illuminating lamp. [al Ahzab 33:45-46]

Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me and shaitaan does not take my form [Bukhari] - Last week we were discussing the response Muslims should give to insults of the Prophet Muhammad . We concluded that the best response it follow in his footsteps, by bringing his Sunnan back to life. We raised the question that what would we do if the Prophet came to visit us? We said take a week and begin to make changes in your life. Expect a visit from the Messenger in your dream. - DOES HEARING THIS NOT MAKE US DESIRE TO SEE THE PROPHET IN OUR DREAMS? - Lets ask ourselves, how many of us began to make changes? Then how can we expect a visit if were not sincere?! People often express a desire and go to Imams and Shuyukh saying that I want to see the Prophet in my dream. As one Shaykh said, maybe it is better that you dont see the Prophet . WHY?! Let it not be that you see the Prophet while he is displeased with you. - A student went to his teacher to express his desire to see the Prophet in a dream. So the teacher said, OK. Come to my house tonight. The student goes to the teachers house with excitement. The teacher brings out food and tells him to eat. He says, What about the reason I came for? Teacher tells the student I will tell you InshaAllah before Fajr. So he begins to eat the food and while hes eating he notices that theres TOO MUCH SALT in the food. He asks for water and teacher tells him no, you cant have water. Finish your food. Student quietly complies and finishes his meal and now hes severely thirsty. Teacher tells him to go to sleep. So he lies down and goes to sleep. He wakes up before Fajr and the teacher asks, Did you see anything? He says yes, I saw water coming from the sky, and rivers and huge oceans. The teacher tells him you are sincere in what you said and have spoken the truth. WHATS THE LESSON?! The boy had a thirst and strong desire for water before he went to sleep and thats why he dreamt what he dreamt. IN ORDER TO SEE THE BELOVED OF ALLAH, YOU MUST YEARN FOR IT, CRY FOR IT, MAKE DUA FOR IT. - How can we desire if we dont even know what he looks like?!

- Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) had a very luminous complexion (colour), and a wide forehead. He had dense and fine hair on his eye brows. Both eye brows were seperate and did not meet each other in the middle. There was a vein between them that used to expand when he became angry. His nose was prominemt and had a nur and lustre on it. When one first looked at him, it seemed as if he had a large nose, but looking at it carefully showed that the lustre and beauty made it look large, otherwise in itself the nose was not large." His beard was full and dense. The pupil of his eye was black. His cheeks were full and full of flesh. The mouth of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) was moderately wide. (He did not have a small mouth). His teeth were thin and bright. The front teeth had a slight space between them. There was a thin line of hair from the chest to the navel. His neck was beautiful and thin, like the neck of a statue shaved clean, the colour of which was clear, shining and beautiful like silver. All the parts of his body were of moderate size, and fully fleshed. His body was proportionately jointed. His chest and stomach were in line, but his chest was broad and wide. The space between his shoulders was wide. The bones of his joints were strong and large (denoting strength). When he removed his clothing, his body looked bright and had a lustre (or rather those parts of the body that were not covered by his clothing were also bright and shining, compared with those parts of the body that were covered by his clothing. According to this humble servant the latter translation is more appropriate). Between the chest and navel there was a thin line of hair. Besides this line neither the chest nor the stomach had other hair on it. Both sides, the shoulders and the upper portion of the chest had hair. His forearm was long and palms were wide. The palms and both feet were fully fleshed. The fingers and toes were moderately long. The soles of his feet were a bit deep. His feet were smooth, because of their cleanliness and smoothness the water did not remain there but flowed away quickly. - Mention story of boy in Medina - Prophet said to Bilal, What is this foolishness O Bilal? Why dont you visit us? Bilal woke up crying in his intense love got up and rushed to Medina. A 7 day distance he convered in 3 days. Only stopping for Salah and relieving himself.Azan time came, Hassan bin Ali and Hussain bin Ali came. He hugged them and kissed them. They said O uncle, will you not call the Azan? HOW COULD HE REFUSE. He climbed to where he would say the Azan. When he said ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR, ALL OF MEDINA CRIED OUT! When Bilal reached ASHADU ANA MUHAMMAD AR RASOOL ALLAH, he choked and wasnt able to complete the Azan. He got down from his place. Narrators mentioned how there was no other day besides the day the Prophet left this Dunya, that people of Medina cried.
