Introduction to e-Seveso Tool and Services
A web-based tool that deploys services, intended to help
implement statutory requirements on environmental and safety
compliance monitoring and reporting
Emphasises the preventive aspects of industrial safety, in order
to improve risk management in industrial activities and
surrounding areas, due to major potential of industrial hazards
Primary targeted to enterprises, affected directly or indirectly by
SEVESO II directive (96/82/EC)
Also targeted to industrial parks or industrial districts, where
affected enterprises are located (“domino” effect prevails)
Additionally, local authorities and communities of the area in
which a group of affected enterprises reside can be provided on-
demand with aggregated data, allowing evaluation of general
safety performance in the area
