Improve your dry stacking ability While the benefits of using filter press technologies to produce dry stackable cake are well known, FLSmidth has taken the technology to the next level Combining our highly reliable yet simple mechanisms of the FLSmidth Paste Thickening technology with High Speed AFP-IV Automatic Filter Press technologies, we are able to increase the solids content of filter press feed. This unique and innovative solution enhances the ability of our filter presses to produce an optimal moisture filter cake. Higher speed mechanical functions allow the filters to spend more time performing filtration functions and less time performing mechanical functions. The AFP proprietary feed pumping control systems typically allow the same results without the use of costly membrane plates and systems. Minimize environmental impact and increase water conservation Adding the proven AFP high speed filter press technology to the equation further enhances our ability to minimize the number of chamber plates and filters required for any given tonnage. Fewer filters means fewer controls, instruments, pumps and piping resulting in lower installed costs.
