M pursuing mine masters of nursing with the speciality in community (public) health nursing from gov.college of nursing, Ahmedabad. From the very beginning I had love and compassion for serving mankind. And would consider myself lucky enough tht I have got an opportunity to hv my interest as my profession. I believe in vasudev kutumbakam means tht whole world is small family. It gives me profound spiritual satisfaction and makes me really and truly happy in helping others. There is no greater happiness than the happiness that comes to us through the happiness of others thats wt I believe in. When I look around and see huge disparity between the vital statistics of developed and developing nations (I wont feel good as all r human beings and all have the equal right to health and healthy life style) The world is full of poverty, disease, and suffering. The gap is so wide that in certain areas in India people are still striving for the basic amenities. They dont even have access to primary health care services. In this modern era of technology still home deliveries are being conducted. Its so pathetic that such imbalance exist. I just wish to add sunshine into a dark life of unprivileged group. This fellowship will help me both personally and professionally. Personally I would consider myself lucky to be selected for this fellowship which will provide me diverse experience of working with the fellows of different country .And professionally will give an accelerated start to my career.As this fellowship will help me to put all mine theoretical knowledge that I hv acquired during my postgraduation into practice for a nobel cause.Being part of this fellowship can help me to grab excellent opportunities in future that wud lead me closer to my dream. Its my dream to join WHO/UNICEF team for various international health projects and work for upliftment of health all over the world. Also I would get an experience tht wt other countries are doing to maintain stable vital statistics so later on will apply those strategies in my county for raising the health parameters. I want to work for enchantment of livelihoods of poor with particular emphasis on promoting livelihoods for women and adolescent girls. I wish to bring a remarkable change in the status of women in Indian society.
