Troubleshooting Codes
1) Power LED (The power LED (Green) which lights during TV reception flashes Lamp failure Flash 1 time
Confirmed after 10 consecutive matched at 500ms intervals. Note that after five match counts, the lamp cannot be activated except in the monitor process. Refer to Power failure details
Power failure Flashes 2 times Communication failure with main CPU Flashes 3 times Vsync Trident failure Flashes four times Monitor temperature failure Flashes 5 times
If the panel temperature is 140 degrees (F) for more for more than 15 seconds, CAUTION appears in OSD. Error standby is activated if 140 (F) for more than 25 seconds Internal Flash ROM data is incorrect
Troubleshooting Codes
The error codes listed below will be indicated by a flashing Blue Power LED and Green OPC LED and indicate a Power supply failure or a voltage discrepancy on the Main PWB
2) Power failure details (Power LED flashes two times and OPC flashes (X) PS_ON DET_10V failure Flash once D_POW DET_3V3 failure Flashes twice D_POW DET_6V failure Flashes 3 times DET_10V (pin 57). UR10V or A9V is not applied. DET_3V3 (pin60) failure (L). D3.3V is not applied. If error is detected during operation, error standby is activated by polling. DET_6V (pin 56) failure (L). D5V or A5V is not applied. If error is detected during operation, error standby is activated by polling
Troubleshooting Codes
The error codes listed below will be indicated by a flashing Blue Power LED and Green OPC LED and indicate a Power supply failure or a voltage discrepancy on the Main PWB (Power failure details continued from last page)
2) Power failure details (Power LED flashes two times and OPC flashes (X) PANEL_POW PNL_ 12V failure Flashes 5 times DET_PNL_12V (pin 58) failure (L). If error is detected during operation, error standby is activated by polling.
Main microprocessor detection error (FAN error, 1bit AMP error, etc). The details are displayed in Error STANDBY CAUSE page.
Troubleshooting Codes
The error codes listed below will be indicated by a flashing Blue power LED and Green OPC LED and indicate a communication error related to the CPU.
3) Communication failure details (Power LED flashes 3 times and OPC flashes (X) Initial communication Reception failure Flash 1 times Time-out setting reception failure Start up confirmation failure Flashes twice Regular communication failure Flashes 3 times Initial communication failure from the main CPU is not received. Communication line or main CPU start-up failure. Time-out setting and start-up mode change cannot be received from the main CPU. Regular communication that performed at 1 second intervals in normal operation is interrupted. Main CPU or monitor microprocessor reception failure.
1) Power LED (The power LED (Green) which lights during TV reception flashes) Lamp failure Flash 1 time Confirmed after 10 consecutive matched at 500ms intervals. Note that after five match counts, the lamp cannot be activated except in the monitor process.
Troubleshooting Codes
Number of lamp errors will be displayed on LAMP ERROR section of service menu (screen 1 / 29). When 5 lamp errors are detected the set will no longer turn on. Entering the service menu will over ride unit shut down. The LC52D92 employs 22 lamps.
Troubleshooting Codes
The lamp error count can be reset to zero by enabling the LAMP ERROR RESET on screen 2/29 of the service menu.
Troubleshooting Codes
If the Power LED flashes 2 times and the OPC LED flashes 5 times, this indicates a communication error between main CPU and Monitor CPU.
Troubleshooting Codes
If a CPU and Monitor communication error occurs, the first step is to verify the integrity of the 3 cables the connect the Main PWB and the FRC PWB. If the cables are good the Main PWB is most likely at fault.
