Premise
The year is 2260, Seven years since the events of Dark World; the alien monsters have finally been exterminated, but the effects of a mutating virus still engulfs the planet as scientists attempt to discover a cure against overwhelming odds before the ultimate annihilation of the human race.

Overview
Seven years have passed since the events of Dark World; the dreaded alien menace on Negranon has finally been exterminated. Now, set up on the planets surface, there is a laboratory, within a military compound, where scientists are studying the effects of a virus discovered on the planet. Believing that the virus could one day be used to help humanity, the scientists attempt to manipulate it, before conducting experiments and tests on living specimens. In the space around Negranon, a lone ship orbits the world, patrolling to ensure that the facility on the planets surface is kept safe. As they scan the vast space around them, the ships crew observe as an unknown craft hurtling towards the planet. The titanic craft engages and destroys the patrolling vessel before it crashes to the surface. A patrol is sent from the military base to investigate the wreckage, where they discover a small group of survivors. Back at the compound, after returning with the remaining crew and providing them with medical support, they discover that they are from a culture of people, from a distant world, and that they were heading for an outpost on a nearby planet, when one of the crew, infected with the Negrano virus, escaped quarantine and began attacking and killing the crew. They explain that the virus is purposely injected into the soldiers of their armies, as a test of strength and to prove themselves worthy of battle. As the survivors are members of their cultures armed forces, they must also undergo the task, but as they were unable to become infected, already prepared for the challenge, they accept an offer from the scientists at the facility to become test subjects in order for the scientists to monitor the progressive stages of the virus. Once the subjects were injected with the virus, several days pass with all but one of the subjects mutating into the mindless monsters of the virus, but no symptoms of the transformation are visible in the last subject. The scientists now believe they have found a cure in the final subjects blood. They prepare to move him to a safe location, in the military base apartments, but when one of the other

subjects escapes, he releases the mindless monstrosities. Now roaming loose in the facilities, spreading terror and destruction, out of sheer desperation, the remaining scientists and soldiers must protect their only hope of saving the human race, their final subject.
