REASON:
To prevent damage to the governor trim actuator (beeper) motor. The power turbine governor throttle stop lever must travel further before contacting the minimum speed stop to prevent damage to the governor trim actuator motor. Additional travel is obtained with a slab cut across the stop lever lug. This permits nine degrees of additional lever travel before the minimum speed stop is contacted. Revision No. 2 May 21, 1979

This change, which also requires governor reidentification, has been released to all 250-C20 and C20B governor assemblies. Add the angular slab cut through the stop lug on P/N Stop Lever Assembly as shown in Figure 1. Reidentify by tagging the matched throttle shaft assembly or marking container.

Reidentify modified governor assemblies by installing a new P/N 2647428 Identification Plate with the information listed in Table I either metal stamped, vibropeened, or scribed. Record compliance with 250-C20/C20B CEB-1086 in the Engine Assembly (white pages) Modification Record, Part III of the Engine Log Book.
