D) (Consolidate d) Position Essential Qualification First Class Post Graduate in discipline of Forestry/ Botany/ Life Sciences having 5 years relevant experience in Environmental Management Studies for developmental projects or Ph. D in discipline of Forestry/ Botany / Life Sciences having 3 years experience in Environmental Management Studies for developmental projects 1. First Class Post Graduate in discipline of Forestry/Fisheries/Zoology/ Wildlife/ Botany having 3 years experience in Floral/ faunal/ aquatic diversity assessment studies for developmental projects 2. First Class Post Graduate/diploma in discipline of Forestry Extension/ Agricultural Extension/Social Sciences having 3 years experience in social environmental Studies for developmental projects First Class Post Graduate in discipline of Geology or B.Tech. Mining Desirable Qualification Work experience of GIS and Remote Sensing. Working experience and knowledge in floristic biodiversity and Environmental Impact Assessment, preparation of reports.

Age:

Upper age limit for Project Associate is 35 years, Senior Project Fellow is 30 years and for Junior Project Fellow it is 28 years, which is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women, PH, and OBC as per ICFRE Rules. The criteria for selection of the candidate may be relaxed in exceptional cases at the discretion of the management.

Period: Vacancies are initially for a period of one year or till the completion of projects whichever is earlier. May be extended at the discretion of the competent authority if need so arises.

General Conditions: Awards of the assignment on contract are governed by the prevailing Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education Rules and other relevant Rules as applicable, and do not guarantee subsequent employment under the Council.
