The Light of the Shabbat Revealed in the Giving of the Manna

a On the evening of 2/25/2013, the author was led to the Hebrew text of Shemot
(Exodus) 16:33: And Mosheh said to Aharon, Take a pot, and put the omer full of manna therein, and let it rest before hwhy, for a charge for your generations. Exodus 16:33 Meditation on this text continued upon retiring and then across the next day from morning to evening. The truths revealed in the Spirit on that second evening left me completely stunned and in awe of hwhy and His indescribable and magnificent Word. It is certainly one of the greatest and most awe-inspiring number connections ever seen by this writer, and we give thanks to hwhy for the lovingkindness and truth which He continues to bestow upon all of His people through the light revealed in His Word.

The Light of the First Day Culminates in the Light of the Seventh Day Shabbat In various studies already presented, the following thoughts were written about the light of hwhy which He placed within the Shabbat/Sabbath by putting His Presence/Spirit in the Seventh Day.1 Some highlights of these teachings have been complied and reorganized in this section as we review certain truths for those who may not have seen them previously. All of this is done to set forth the necessary foundation for what will then follow in regards to the giving of the Manna.

On the First Day of the Creation (of the heavens and earth that are now2), Elohim spoke forth the existence of light:3

rwa - yhyw
ur light vay-yu-hee and it came to be

rwa
ur light

yhy
yu-hee let there be

Myhla
Elohim Elohim

rmayw
Vay-yo-mare And He said

For many additional details, see the following studies: Psalms 27 and 72: Revealing the Light and the Chesed of hwhy http://www.scribd.com/doc/114190394/Psalms-27-and-72-Revealing-the-Light-and-Chesed-of-YHWH Psalm 1: Let There Be Light http://www.scribd.com/doc/58703125/Psalm-1-Let-There-Be-Light 2Peter 3:7 Seen here is the Hebrew text of Breshit/Genesis 1:3.

The Hebrew word for light is rwa/ur. And there is amazing significance behind the misparim of rwa/ur/light being 207. This value is obtained by the calculation shown just below:

(mv)

207 = (200) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

We will not provide more details for all Six of these days of Creation; however, readers may study those meditations in a separate manuscript.4 But the light of the First Day did progress across each of the following Six Days: Still more light from Elohim was seen in each of the subsequent days of Creation, culminating in the great light which hwhy placed within the Seventh Day Shabbat. Then, on the Seventh Day, Elohim rested from all His works. This day was blessed and set apart (sanctified) by Elohim with a special anointing of His Light and Presence; and we must know that it is only the Spirit and the Presence of hwhy that can set anything apart.5 No man can add to or take away from the Design of hwhy in setting something apart,6 although carnal man can certainly defile something that Elohim has set apart (yet it is he, and not Elohim, who suffers the consequences). That hwhy placed His light and Presence in the Seventh Day is evident when we behold the misparim for the word Shabbat (Sabbath):

(mv)

702 = (400) t + (2) b + (300) S = tbS = Shabbat

But this number, 702, is the reflectionthe mirror imageof the misparim for light:
(mv)

207 = (200) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

The Light of the First Day (207) culminated in the Light of the Seventh Day (702).

So even within in the Creation Week itself, hwhy declared the end from the beginning:7

This explains why those who wish to seek hwhy and to walk in His light will receive the most understanding from His Word by upholding the sanctity of the Shabbat. As we honor the Shabbat, we honor hwhy, and He will bless us with greater light and understanding from His Eternal Word: for it is only by walking in His Sabbath Light that we will see light.8 Yes, hwhy will certainly reveal Himself to us on other days of the week, but in all of eternity, we can never regain the opportunity lost by failing to seek Him within the light of that special Shabbat He has given to end any particular week. hwhy is jealous for the Set Apart Time to the end He may meet with us, and so
4 5

See the studies just referenced in an earlier footnote. Exodus 29:43-44 6 Ecclesiastes 3:14 7 Isaiah 46:9-10 8 Psalm 36:9

must we be to meet with Him. Those who recognize the unchanging Messiah9 as the Sovereign of the Shabbat10 will also experience Him shining the light of Elohims splendor on and from the Torah11 and revealing still more of the Fathers Name12 to His people: 15 But unto this day, whenever Mosheh is read, a veil lies upon their heart. 16 But whenever it shall turn to the Sovereign, the veil is taken away. 17 Now hwhy is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of hwhy is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the splendor of the Sovereign, are transformed into the same imagefrom splendor to splendoreven as from the hwhy the Spirit. 2Corinthians 3:15-18 The riches of His great wisdom and knowledge are hidden in the Mashiach/Messiah,13 and these immense and highly valued treasures are not granted to the casual passer-by. hwhy will only give His Spirit and reveal His Word and ways to those who will obey Him,14 to those who will love Him and seek Him with all their hearts.15 And there are still other ways in which the Hebrew misparim/numbers reflect the great truth of His Spirit/Presence/Light having been perpetually placed within the Seventh Day! The Shabbat is the Day that has been set apart with the light of His Presence, the Light of His Name/Spirit. To see how the Hebrew numbers reveal this, we will review the place value for the Name of hwhy and for light/ur/rwa:

(pv) (pv)

26 = (5) h + (6) w + (5) h + (10) y = hwhy = YHWH

27 = (20) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

As we have seen many times and in many ways, light (27) emanates from the awesome and loving Presence of hwhy (26). Yet when these two values (26 and 27) are multiplied together, we get the precise value for the misparim of Shabbat:
26 (YHWH) x 27 (Light) = 702 (Shabbat)

(mv)

702 = (400) t + (2) b + (300) S = tbS = Shabbat

Yes, hwhy has most certainly placed His Name/Spirit and His Light within the Qadosh16 Shabbat, making the Seventh Day a perpetual Sanctuary in Time and Space;

Hebrews 13:8 Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28 11 2Corinthians 3:14-16 12 John 17:26 13 Colossians 2:2-3 14 Acts 5:32, Psalm 119:97-100, John 14:21 15 Psalm 119:2, Jeremiah 29:13 16 (qadosh = set apart and is most often translated as holy)
10

and those who enter thereinhonoring the Light of His Loving Presencewill be blessed with still more of His Spirit, light, splendor, and love.
t s r q u p e o n m l k y j x z w h d g b a

Having established this foundational revelation, we will see the very same results in the giving of the Manna which hwhy orchestrated to reveal the Shabbat to all Yisrael and to test whether or not our forefathers would walk in the Torah and uphold the sanctity of His Set Apart Day. The Light in the Giving of the Manna Culminates in the Light of the Shabbat So the light which broke forth on the First Day of Creation culminated in the light of hwhy which emanated from His Presence on the Shabbat: the Day was/is qadosh because of the Presence of Elohim which He has placed by the Spirit within the Seventh Day. Yet like the First Week of Creation, there is a revelation of the Shabbat which is seen in the Giving of the Manna in the wilderness. And the number pattern, thus formed, not only reveals the Shabbat, but the whole scenario is almost just like the scenario seen in the First Seven Days of Creation (and it is certainly just as much, if not more astounding)! Recalling the evening of 2/25/2013 and the Hebrew text of Shemot/Exodus 16:33, this relevant Scripture is provided once more: And Mosheh said to Aharon, Take a pot, and put the omer full of manna therein, and let it rest before hwhy, for a charge for your generations. Exodus 16:33 Of course, some of the related numbers were also considered at that time. On that first evening of meditation, the two-letter Hebrew word for Manna (Nm/mahn) was studied and pondered. In a significant part of this meditation, the place value and the misparim value for this Hebrew word were determined:

(pv) (mv)

27 = (14) w + (13) m = Nm = Nm/mahn/manna

90 = (50) w + (40) m = Nm = Nm/mahn/manna

It was interesting so see the misparim value of Manna added to 90 and to note that the first psalm attributed to the prophet Mosheh is Tehillim/Psalms 90. This did not seem to be coincidental since Yisrael was under the leadership of Mosheh when the miracle first began surrounding the giving of the Manna. It was also significant that the place value for Manna was 27the number which equals the place value of light:

(pv)

27 = (20) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

What light was there in connection with the giving of the Manna? The giving of the Manna centered around the Seventh Day Shabbat; so what might this significant
4

number, 27, mean and what might it have to do with the Shabbat? A day later, the answer would be revealed still further. The total value of Manna (Nm/mahn) was seen to be 117the number composed of the sum between 27 (its place value) and 90 (its misparim value): The Total Sum / Total Value of Manna:

27 + 90 = 117
Psalm 117 directs the nations to praise hwhy and it is by the goodness of Elohim (which He continually bestows upon our nation, Yisrael) that He intends to bring all the peoples of the earth to the knowledge of His great light.17 The goodness of hwhy was certainly upon ancient Yisrael in His leading us for forty years through the wilderness and then bringing us into the Land of Promise. And the daily provision of Manna was a significant part of that goodness. Here is what occurred, and what hwhy recorded through Mosheh, just prior to the Manna provisions commencement: 1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Yisrael came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt. 2 And the whole congregation of the children of Yisrael murmured against Mosheh and against Aharon in the wilderness: 3 and the children of Yisrael said to them, Would that we had died by the hand of hwhy in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots, when we did eat bread to the full; for you have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4 Then hwhy said to Mosheh, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people will go out and gather a days portion every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in My Torah, or not. 5 And it will come to pass on the sixth day, that they shall prepare that which they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily. Exodus 16:1-4 And yet another miracle occurred over and above the daily provision itself: the Manna that would normally spoil if kept over until the next day did not spoil when kept over until the Shabbat: 19 And Mosheh said to them, Let no man leave of it until the morning. 20 Notwithstanding, they hearkened not to Mosheh; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and became foul: and Mosheh was angry with them. 21 And they gathered it morning by morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun grew hot, it melted. 22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Mosheh. 23 And he said to them, This is that which hwhy
17

Isaiah 60:1-3

has spoken, Tomorrow is a complete rest, a Qadosh Shabbat to hwhy: bake that which you will bake, and boil that which you will boil; and all that remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. 24 And they laid it up until the morning, as Mosheh commanded: and it did not become foul, neither was there any worm therein. 25 And Mosheh said, Eat that today; for today is a Shabbat to hwhy: today you will not find it in the field. 26 Six days you shall gather it; but on the Seventh Day is the Shabbat, in it there shall be none. Exodus 16:19-25 And while all Yisrael had been directed not to go out to collect Manna on the Shabbat, some still failed to heed the warning: 27 And it came to pass, on the Seventh Day, that there went forth some of the people to gather, but they found not. 28 Then said hwhy to Mosheh, How long will you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws? 29 See, because, hwhy, has given you the Shabbat, for this cause, He is giving you on the sixth day, food for two days: abide every man in his place, let no man go forth from his dwelling on the Seventh Day. 30 So the people rested on the Seventh Day. Exodus 16:27-30 Thus, the giving of the manna was an exercise in light/revelation: Light came from the provision of hwhy across the six days leading up to the Shabbat; and light resulted when there was no Manna to be found in the fields on the Seventh Day; the absence of Manna was light! hwhy revealed His Shabbat and miraculously preserved whatever was prepared in advance to honor His Set Apart Time. Yet the Hebrew misparim/numbers will also reveal the Shabbat at the end of the six days of MannaProvision from Heaven! Recall the full value of Manna equals 117:

(pv) (mv)

27 = (14) w + (13) m = Nm = Nm/mahn/manna

90 = (50) w + (40) m = Nm = Nm/mahn/manna

================== Total = 117 Manna (117) was gathered across the six days (6), and then came the Shabbat. Yet collecting Manna across 6 days creates the following multiplication problem:

117 (Mannas Full Value) x 6 (Days of Provision)

But, when multiplied, this value is precisely equal to the misparim for the Qadosh/Set Apart Shabbat!

117 (Manna) x 6 (Days of Provision) = 702 (Shabbat)

(mv)

702 = (400) t + (2) b + (300) S = tbS = Shabbat

6

The gathering of Manna for six days culminated in the Shabbatupon which there was to be no gathering because there would be no Manna! Just as the light (207) spoken forth on the First Day of Creation was progressively revealed across the Six Daysleading to and culminating in the Light of the Seventh Day (Shabbat = 702) even so the light (27) seen in the provision of the Manna (also 27) in the wilderness culminated in the arrival of the Shabbat and the Light of the Seventh Day (702). This is the Day which hwhy says will remain perpetual/age-abiding across the many eons of time that it will take to see 1000 generations come forth upon the Earth.18 Summary When properly understood, the Hebrew misparim/numbers really are the Commentary of hwhy over His Eternal Word. These numbers are unarguably Inspired and are intended to leave the people of the Most High overwhelmed and standing in awe of a loving and all-knowing, all-powerful Creator. When the Messiah asserted the Shabbat was made for man/Adam19 from where did He derive that great truth? True, the Breshit/Genesis account reveals Adam inherited the Shabbat immediately upon being created. But the Hebrew numbers tell us the very same thing regarding man and the Shabbat. Recall that the number 45 is the misparim for Mda/Adam/man:

(mv)

45 = (40) M + (4) d + (1) a = Mda = Mda/Adam/man

While we have seen the misparim for tbS/Shabbat equals 702, the place value for the Seventh Day is, not coincidentally, 45:
(pv)

45 = (22) t + (2) b + (21) S = tbS = Shabbat

And is it any wonder, then, that the One who calls Himself the Sovereign of the Shabbat(45)20 is also called by Shaul the Last Adam (45) and a Life-Giving Spirit? So also it is written, The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The Last Adam is a lifegiving Spirit. 1Corinthians 15:45 We exalt the Messiah to be the Great Teacher of Misparim because He is the Son of the Eternal Elohimwho ever counts,21 numbers,22 names, weighs,23 and measures!24 We pray this meditation, as well as this entire series of articles, will reveal the greatness of hwhy and His Messiah to all Yisrael and to all the world.
