BRIQUETTING
Rod type mixing arm was applied inside the container of BIOMASSER SOLO. The rod mixing arm causes dynamic mixing of chopped straw and due to its lightness the dust is released. In order to show this effect the filter bag of BIOMASSER SOLO was taken off - photo on the right. The briquette move was even, regular and the briquette itself was well formed.

BRIQUETTE WEIGHT COMPARISON
The measurement was made by weighting 1 meter of briquette having 70 mm diameter. 1 meter of rice briquette weights 2,20 kg 1 meter of rye straw briquette weights 2,90 kg 1 meter of maize straw briquette weights 4,00 kg Rice straw is 24% lighter than rye straw (cereal straw).

CONCLUSIONS
Rice straw is much lighter than rye, cereal straw. This feature causes that its behavior is much different than cereal straw from the gravity point of view. Rice straw slower falls into the briquetting chamber and its prone to linger on the mixing arm inside the briquetting press container. The execute d tests confirmed good effect of rice straw briquetting in BIOMASSER technology. Trials were performed using mass production BIOMASSER SOLO type BS06. Results for rice straw: - low specific weight of rice straw - light material - high dusting while shredding and briquetting - 1 meter of rice briquette weights 2,20 kg - rice straw is 24% lighter than rye straw - cereal straw - positive result of briquetting in BIOMASSER technology.
