Title: Process Documents

Summary: The applicant, after printing two copies of the copyright application
form, fills-up the copies of the form and submits it to the Notary Public. The
Notary Public then notarizes the document and after the applicant pays for the
notarization fee, the document is then returned to the applicant.

Flow of Events

Preconditions:

1. Applicant has already produced the required copies of the copyright


application form.

Main Success Scenario:

The use case is triggered when the applicant goes to the Notary Public to have
his copies of the copyright application forms notarized:

1. The applicant goes to the Notary Public.


2. The applicant gives the copies of the copyright application form to
the Notary Public.
3. The Notary Public notarizes the copies of the copyright application
form.
4. The applicant pays the notarization fee.
5. The Notary Public receives payment for notarization.
6. The Notary Public returns the copies of the copyright application
form.
7. The applicant receives the notarized copies of the copyright
application form.
Alternative Sequences:

1. The applicant only notarizes one copy and photocopies the notarized
one instead.

2. The copies of the copyright application form from the applicant was
taken from other sources instead.

Error Sequences:

1. The applicant fails to notarize the copies of the copyright application


form.

2. The applicant has insufficient money to pay the notarization fee.

Post-Conditions:

1. Copies of the copyright application form are notarized.


2. Applicant’s money decreases.
3. Notary Public’s money increases.

Title: Process Copyright Application

Summary: The applicant, after having notarized two copies of the copyright
application form, purchases two documentary stamps from the COOP Staff. After
purchasing the documentary stamps, the applicant attaches the stamps to the
forms, and submits it together with two copies of the applicant’s work to the
Registrar. The registrar then checks the applicant’s work and gives the applicant
a payment slip. The applicant brings the payment slip to the Cashier and pays
the required amount. The Cashier then gives the applicant a customer copy of
the official receipt of his payment, which he then submits to the Registrar. The
Registrar then confirms the payment and informs the applicant as to when his
work can be claimed.

2. The applicant then submits his work together with the copyright
application form to the Registrar.
3. The Registrar approves the applicant’s work and gives a payment
request form to the applicant.
4. The applicant pays the amount stated on the payment request form
to the Cashier.
5. The Cashier acknowledges payment of applicant.
6. The applicant is successfully informed by the Registrar as to when
he can claim his work
.
Alternative Sequences:

1. The applicant submits the notarized copies of his copyright application


forms together with the copies of his work to the Registrar first before
purchasing the documentary stamps.

Error Sequences:

1. There are no available documentary stamps.

2. Required copies of the applicant’s work and its corresponding notarized


copyright application form are not met.
Post-Conditions:

1. Claim stub is received by the applicant.


2. Registrar’s number of approved work increases.
3. Applicant’s money decreases.
4. Cashier’s cash increases.

Based on their Existing Process Flow, the said processes are okay and organize. I think
there’s no problem in the existing system for the application of Copyrights.
