Yoon Doo Joon is the leader of the group, was born in Seoul, South Korea on July 4, 1989. Prior to his debut with Beast, he was a trainee at JYP Entertainment and was featured in the Mnet documentary Hot Blooded Men with 2AM and 2PM, but was eliminated along the course of the show. He then moved to Cube Entertainment and was featured as a rapper in AJ's "Wipe the Tears". Yong Jun Hyung is the main rapper of the group, was originally named as Yong Jae Soon but had changed his name during his 6th grade. He was born in Seoul, South Korea on December 19, 1989. He was once a member of the boyband "Xing" along with Kevin from U-KISS and was known as Poppin' Dragon when he was promoting with them. He featured in various singles as a rapper from different artists such as labelmates Hyunah's "Change" and G.NA's "Kkeojyeo Julge Jar Sara" (lit. I'll Back Off So You Can Live Better), Young Jee's "Crazy, that's what love is", Navi's "Go Again" and Wheesung's "Words That Freeze My Heart".

About Jang Hyun Seung

Jang Hyun Seung was born on September 3, 1989. He first received media attention as a trainee under YG Entertainment with the nickname So-1 when he was preparing to debut as a member of Big Bang. He appeared in 10 out of 11 episodes of the Big Bang Documentary, but wasn't chosen to be a part of the final group formation by YG's president because his maturity hadn't fully developed yet and was not ready to be a singer. He usually could not control his feelings well (when he was eliminated, he could not hold in his tears and cried a lot. When he teamed up with Jiyong and Daesung and watched Seungri-TOP-Taeyang team dancing, he was so amazed that he had his mouth hang wide opened, his eyes stuck out haha) Why did Jang Hyun Seung move out from big bang?

He wasn't officially in Big Bang, But still he is related with his former band. He move out because pre-debut of Big Bang, in episode 9 of their documentary, it was down to 6 members (pre-debut) and they had to cut a few more out. Big Bang was suppose to only have 4 members, but they kept one more. Well you could watch it in their documentary there was a competition between SO-1 and Seung Ri. YG chose Seung Ri over SO-1 because they thought SO-1 didn't have the "star quality" that Seung Ri did. In other words, SO-1 was too shy to be a big enough stage prescence, and he lip-synced rather than actually sang.
