    Objectives of Commercial Documents

    To effect physical transfer of goods from the exporters place to the importers place. To transfer the property & title of goods from the exporter to the importer. Realization of export proceeds from the exporter to the importer. There are 16 commercial documents which can be classified as Principal Export Documents & Auxiliary Documents.

    Regulatory Documents
    Are those which have been prescribed by different Govt departments & bodies in the context of export trade. These documents are meant to comply with the various rules & regulation under relevant laws governing export trade. There are 9 regulatory documents associated with the pre-shipment stage of an export transaction( out of them , only 4 have been standardized).
