For example: I worked as a summer daycare staff member and in the food service industry. In these roles, I interacted with customers using my interpersonal skills to satisfy them to the best of my ability. In the case of working with children, I developed strong relationships with children as well as the trust with parents. The experience taught me valuable lessons in responsibility, character, and leadership. In addition, I have been active at my local church as a multimedia volunteer, which required me to use my technical skills through the computer. I was able to utilize Microsoft Office for word processing, sermon notes, etc. Although the experience was unpaid, I gained a lot of knowledge and familiarity working in a non-profit organization as well as develop a passion in helping others.
