Model Classroom Training
Teachers
This training is a great way to begin the school
year. Teachers will come away from the
training having the information needed to go
back into the classroom and create a model
program. The training is interactive, using
many photos and hands-on examples of ways
to create each of the six OMAC foundations.
ParaProfessionals/Support Staff
This training is a great addition to the teacher
training. The information is modified to fit the
needs of the classroom support staff. The
paraprofessionals/support staff will return to
the classroom understanding why the class is
run the way it is. They will have practical
knowledge that will help them better support
the teacher.
Program Consultation
Our Consultant will provide a comprehensive program
 Parents
consultation. The Consultant will provide valuable
information and insight on ways to significantly
improve the structure of the entire Autism program.
Areas discussed include overall program curriculum,
communication strategies, sensory strategies, data
keeping methods and classroom structure.

Individual Teacher Consultation
Individual Teacher Consultations generate a personalized plan for each teacher and
the teacher’s specific needs, provide a classroom layout, a step-by-step plan on how
to set up the classroom to fit the teacher’s specific needs, and a framework list of
materials needed to implement the plan.
The OMAC System
The OMAC system is an organized method of presenting the best practices in managing and
organizing an Autism classroom. It is structured into six foundational steps: Environmental
Organization, Communication Organization, Teaching Organization, Behavioral Organization,
Data & Paperwork Organization, and Staff and Home Support Organization. Following the
OMAC structure will create organized classrooms that provide an optimal environment for
students with Autism.
The Consultant
Cindy Golden is a School Psychologist with a psychoeducational program in the metro
Atlanta area. She has 24 years of Special Education experience. She has a current teaching
certificate in Special Education; a M.A. and an Ed.S. in School Psychology; and a certification in
Leadership. Cindy is currently working on her Doctorate.
Cindy has been elected Teacher of the Year in two different school settings and has implemented
several programs in her current setting. She wrote The HOME LAB program, which is a
functional living curriculum for students with significant disabilities. Cindy also wrote and
implemented the MAC Program (Model Autism Classroom Program), which has been adopted
by the HAVEN Academy Psychoeducational Center of Cobb County, Georgia. She is one of the
co-authors of the EIC/ASD Website Training Program for the Georgia Psychoeducational
Network.
Cindy is currently in the process of completing her book, entitled, The OMAC System.
