Lincoln Electrics CV-400 represents the perfect marriage of power, performance, and versatility. Designed primarily for MIG and FCAW applications, the CV-400 delivers excellent arc stability and weld consistency time after time. This welding workhorse is an outstanding choice for heavy-duty jobs involving mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum and alloy materials. Recommended for MIG, Innershield, and Outershield welding electrodes. Recommended semiautomatic wire feeders include Lincolns LN-7, LN-7 GMA, LN-742, LN-8, LN-9, LN-9 GMA, LN-10, DH-10, LN-23P, and LN 25. Recommended automatic feeders include the NA-3, NA-5, or NA-5R. Optional factoryinstalled diode allows utilization of

cold-inch and sensing features of NA-3, NA-5, or NA-5R automatic feeders. Standard analog ammeter / voltmeter. Full output control potentiometer lets operator accurately regulate power levels.

OPTIONS AVAILABLE
Remote Voltage Control For remote adjustment of output voltage. Consists of a control box with 28 ft. (8.5m) of four conductor cable for terminal strip connection. Order K775. Remote Control Cable Adapter Y connection adapter for connecting K857 Remote Voltage Control (6 pin plug connection) and wire feeder input cable (14 pin plug connection) to CV-400 14 pin receptacle. Order K864. Capacitor Discharge Kit Rapidly discharges output capacitors to prevent possible flash if electrode touches work just after wire feeder gun trigger is released. Order K828-1.

Remote Voltage Control Provides 25 ft. (7.6m) or 100 ft. (30m) of remote output control (6 pin plug connection). Requires K864 Control Cable Adapter. For 25 ft. (7.6m) cable, Order K857. For 100 ft. (30m) cable, Order K857-1.
