(Note: The best essays will discuss how society should approach the policy area and
address why a government dedicated to securing and protecting individual liberties
stewards over a more successful societal outcome.)

I understand that I will not be financially compensated unless my work is selected for
publication by the editorial board and that An Invitation to Conservatism is published. In
the event that my work is selected and published in An Invitation to Conservatism, I agree
to be financially compensated in the form of a fixed percentage of the project’s royalties
to be negotiated between myself and the editorial board prior to the publication of my
work.
In return for this contingent financial compensation, the editorial board of An Invitation
to Conservatism acquires all rights to any work that I submit. I waive all right to any
other form of financial compensation for the work I submit for this project.
Furthermore, I agree that all deliberations and decisions regarding the selection of a
publisher for An Invitation to Conservatism will be conducted by the editorial board.
Finally, the royalty structure for An Invitation to Conservatism will be negotiated and
agreed upon solely between the editorial board and the publisher.
