Ok, first let me start off by saying that this version of Porsche Unleashed is f rom the "World of Need

For Speed" pack and thus is definitely the real deal. Th at being said, I tried installing it on my Windows XP based PC (Professional) an d ran into an odd install routine that would definitely confuse the average user . After working at it for a couple of hours, I came up with a way to install it and get it working. Here are the steps to get NFS Porsche Unleashed on your PC :

1. Either insert your burned copy of NFS PU or mount the NFS V.bin/.cue files th at you downloaded from this torrent onto a virtual drive. 2. The autorun window should come up. Click on the "quit" button to close out t he Autorun window. DO NOT CLICK ON INSTALL!!!!! (If the autorun window did not pop up for you, do not worry. Skip to step 3) 3. Go to "My Computer" and find the CD drive where NFS PU is currently inserted. Right click on the drive and select "Explore". A window should now open and y ou should be browsing the CD's contents. 4. Go to the folder titled "setup" and open it. Inside, click on the "Setup" fi le. 5. The NFS PU setup should start. If it doesn't or you get an error, follow the steps that apply to you below: -If you double click it and nothing happens, reboot your computer and ru n "Setup" again. -If you double click it and it runs, but you get an "Invalid CDCode Erro r", hit the "cancel" button and the setup should close. Re-run " Setup" and it should fix itself. -If the error re-appears and does not fix itself, go to the folder calle d "EReg" located in the "setup" folder and run the application. Yo u should get a screen that tells you to enter a serial code in a window. Enter the code as shown and rerun "Setup" and it should install completely. 6. During the install of NFS PU, you should see another setup window start for t he EA Updater. If however the setup for the updater is slow to load and you see the message "Click OK once the EA Updater is installed", DO NOT click OK right away! Wait for it to load. If you do not see it loading, it may be behind the i nstaller. To access it, hit the Windows symbol on your keyboard and look at the task bar. You should see the EA updater window minimized. Install it and then click "OK" on the main setup window to continue. 7. Once the game has successfully been installed, the installer will close and N FS PU will finally be on your computer! If you try to run it, however, you will get the "Please insert the Correct CD Rom" error. DO not worry, this is EA's d isc protection kicking in. Time to apply the the No-CD patch! 8. In the same folder where the NFS V.bin/.cue files are located should be a .zi p file called "NFS PU No-CD Patch" that contains the No-CD crack. Open the .zip file and extract the file "Porsche.exe" to wherever you can access it. 9. Open up "My Computer" and double click on your "Program Files", then find the folder "Electronic the "Porsche Unleashed" folder. Open the folder orsche.exe" file that you extracted from the .zip hard drive. Go to the folder Arts". Inside there, look for and then Copy and Paste the "P file earlier.

10. When a window pops up asking if you want to replace the file, click yes. (I f you are on Windows Vista, you want to click the "Copy and Replace" option.) READ THE NEXT STEP... DO NOT RUN THE GAME JUST YET!!!!! 11. Now that the No-CD crack is in place, insert your burned CD or mount the ima ge files onto a virtual disk drive. Go to the start menu and find the Porsche U nleashed shortcut within the Electronic Arts folder. If you created a shortcut on your desktop during install, you can click that as well. The game should now run and you can now play NFS Porsche Unleashed! ENJOY!!! **NOTE** Even though you now have a No-CD crack in place, the game disc STILL MUST BE INS ERTED/MOUNTED TO PLAY THE GAME!!!!!!! If you do not have it inserted/mounted, t he game will crash.
