Senator Diane Feinstein 331 Hart Senate Office Building Washington, D.C. 20510 Dear Dee:

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Despite your assertion to the contrary your sanctimonious reply to Senator Cruz screams for a lecture on history and the Constitution. You acted like a sixth grader so Senator Cruz appropriately treated you like one. I am pleased someone called you out on your extensive senate history of spitting on the Constitution. Your suggestion that Congress should pass legislation without considering the Constitution and let the courts sort it out is a clear violation of your Constitutional oath. You have either forgotten or are ignoring the fact that the original 1968 gun control law is a copy of Hitlers 1938 edict. The 1968 gun control law was written by former Senator Thomas J. Dodd, one of six senators censured by the United States Senate in the 20th Century. Senator Dodd, as you may recall, was a prosecutor at the Nuremburg trials. That is where he got a copy of Hitlers gun control edict. Since no American ever thought of writing such a law, Senator Dodd lazily copied Hitlers edict in form and fashion and got it passed. Who would have thought that Jews like you, Schumer, Lautenberg, and Bloomberg et al would enact such a law and use it against Americans? That is pure evil. The framers knew the history of the world is based on the rise and fall of tyrants. They knew liberty needs greater protection.. Samuel Adams said every American has the inherent right to certain things under the laws of nature. Among those natural rights is the right to life; and property and that comes with the right to support and defend them in the best manner they can. Fundamental to these rights is the right to defend them. Your attempt to legislate away this right that shall not be infringed portrays you a collaborator with the likes of Hitler, Mao, and Stalin to name a few. This is un-American. The founders knew that before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed as they are in almost every country. They knew the supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword because the whole body of the people are armed because they constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States. This addresses the question of why Americans have a right to military style weapons; they should be as well armed as the Army that tyrants like you, Bloomberg and others might try to send against them. Patrick Henry told Americans to Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined. That is what Ted Cruz and others, including me, are doing. The Supreme Court settled the militia issue in the District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago. Regrettably, they did so without specific reference to George Mason who said, They (the militia) consist now of the Page 1 of 2

whole people, except a few public officers. But I cannot say who will be the militia of the future day. If that paper on the table gets no alteration, the militia of the future day may not consist of all classes, high and low, and rich and poor. Mason wisely understood and feared that without the incorporation of the Second Amendment the people would forget and allow the government to disarm them. That is what you and other politicians are trying to do. Americans have a right and duty to bear arms. We also have a duty to Prevent this and other efforts to disarm us. Ensure the federal government does not try to rule us with a standing army. Prevent the federal government from imposing unjust laws by the sword. Pastor Martin Niemoeller comes to mind as I write this letter. He said, : "First they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me and by that time no one was left to speak up. The punishment of the majority for the misdeeds of a few miscreants is tyranny. Your tactics emulate classic Marxism. I refuse to dishonor the memory of those veterans who before me and with me sacrificed so much for this country and our Constitution. If DHS or BATF labels me as a terrorist because of my service and fealty to the Constitution I cherish that label. I owe this defense of the Constitution to myself and this countrys posterity. I have an obligation to secure the blessings of liberty that George Mason, Noah Webster, Richard Henry Lee, Patrick Henry, and the remaining founders told us about. Public education has not dumbed me down to the point where I do not know the difference. I will educate others. You and your fellow travelers are not going to take our rights and freedoms away from without a fight. Yours in the Bill of Rights,
