Diva Dancers
Diva Dancers are our beginning, level 1 Competitive team program. Diva Dancers perform at our annual Christmas show & have 2 competitions in the spring. They also perform at our Year end dance concert in May. They will have one choreography number that they perform & compete. All classes, rehearsals, meetings, performances and competitions are mandatory. Diva class schedules will include Jazz technique, Choreography & Ballet. Tumbling & hip hop classes may be added as well.

All classes, rehearsals, meetings, performances and competitions are mandatory. All Diamond class schedules will include Jazz technique, Choreography & Ballet. Hip Hop & Tumbling classes may be added as well..

Mini Diamonds: 5-7 yr olds $105 per month Mon/Wed (4 hrs per week)

Jr Diamonds: 8-11 yr. olds $140 per month Mon/Wed (5 hrs per week)

Dynamite Dancers
Dynamite Dancers is our advanced, level 3 competitive team program. Dynamite dancers will have 4-6 performances throughout the year & 3-4 competitions in the spring. They will be required to participate in at least 3 choreography numbers and may audition for more. One of their numbers will be choreographed by an outside guest instructor and will have an additional choreography fee. Dynamite dancers are also required to compete a solo, duo or trio. They will also attend the EPIC Dance convention in September and will be invited to join the Company for an optional Dancelink Convention in August. All classes, rehearsals, meetings, performances and competitions are mandatory. All Dynamite class schedules will include Jazz technique, Choreography, Ballet, lyrical/contemporary & conditioning. Tumbling & hip hop classes may be added as well.

The Company
The Company is our intensive, advanced, level 4, competitive team program. Dancers may audition by invitation only. Company dancers will have approx. 6-8 local performances throughout the year & 4 local competitions in the spring. They will also travel for a competition/convention (date & location TBA). They will be required to participate in 3-4 choreography numbers and may audition for more. They are also required to compete a Solo, Duo or Trio. Several of their numbers will be choreographed by guest instructors and will have additional choreography fees. They are also required to attend the Dancelink Convention in August & the EPIC Dance convention in September (Provo). All classes, rehearsals, meetings, performances and competitions are mandatory. The Company will have grade checks and will have opportunities to shadow teach and assist with instructors. There is a strong emphasis on building each dancers resume and any opportunity to do so will be encouraged. All Company class schedules will include Jazz technique, Choreography, Ballet, conditioning, lyrical/contemporary and tumbling. Periodic hip hop workshops will also be required.

Team Auditions 2013

Dancers who wish to be a part of one of our award winning teams must attend our Team Auditions. We offer 4 different team levels (Diva, Diamond, Dynamite & Company) for dancers ages 4 and up. Please keep in mind the extra time and commitment that goes into being a part of a successful team. Everyone who auditions will be placed on a team that the directors, teachers, and judges feel will be the best fit for each dancer. We feel that dancers should be challenged but not overwhelmed in order to grow and have a positive experience. Our ultimate goal is to give every dancer the best experience possible. Please keep this in mind as you go through the audition process.

The Audition fee is included in May tuition for all current Vision dancers. If you are new to our studio, there will be a $25 fee to register for the 2013 Auditions.

Audition Week: May 28th-31st Dancers will attend an audition clinic where they will learn short ballet, jazz, and across the floor combinations. Dancers will then return a second day, on which they will audition the combinations learned the previous day in groups of 3-5 in front of a small panel of judges. Dancers may be asked to perform these combinations several times with a variety of different groups to make sure that every dancer is placed in the appropriate team. The judges will consist of Vision staff members along with a few guest judges. Audition schedule: Tuesday, May 28th= All current Darlings, Divas, Diamonds and new students 4:30-6:00 4-7 yr olds 6:00-7:30- 8-11 yr olds 7:30-9- 12 yr olds & up Wednesday, May 29th = All current Dynamites, Company and others by invitation 4:30-6:30- 5-11 yr olds 6:30-8:30 12 yr olds & up Thursday, May 30th= Final Auditions 4:30-6:00 4-7 yr olds 6:00-7:30 8-11 yr olds 7:30-9:00 12 yr olds & up

Audition results and class schedules will be posted on Fri. May 31st by noon.
Team/Parent Meetings and Team Registration will be held June 4-6. All dancers and their moms must be available to attend these important events. Specific schedules for this week will be posted with audition results!!
