Hubungan Kondisi Kerja dan Karakteristik Perawat Pelaksana Dengan Kinerja Perawat Pelaksana di RSUD Dr. M.

Yunus Tahun 2009 Background: The performance of nurses is a series of activities of nurses in providing care to clients. Results of previous studies showed that the documentation of nursing care in General Hospital dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu, only 55.8% with good category. Performance may be affected by age, education, training, length of employment, supervision, guidelines for work, reward systems, and hospital policy. This study aims to determine the relationship characteristics (age, education, training and working period) and working conditions (supervision, work guidance, reward systems, and hospital policy) to the performance of nurses at the General Hospital of dr. M. Yunus. Method: The study was a descriptive analytic with cross sectional design. Samples are all nurses at the General Hospital of dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu, which amounts to 185 nurses which were taken with a total sampling techniques. The collection of data by using primary data in the form of questionnaires, and secondary data from annual reports of General Hospital, dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu. The data was analyzed by univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using chi square test, multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression analysis. Results: Results showed that small portion (25.9%) of respondents have a less good performance. From the Chi Square test showed that the independent variables related to nurse performance are working period, supervision, guidelines, and a reward system. While the multivariate analysis showed that the most independent variables which associated with the nurse performance was supervision. Suggestion: To improve the performance of nurses in the General Hospital of dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu, it is suggested to the field of nursing to supervise with supervisors who have the organizational approach by conducting periodic performance appraisals and provide feedback that can improve the performance of nurses in the room.

Hubungan beban kerja dan motivasi perawat pelaksanaan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan di RSUD dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu Background: A good documentation can show the quality of nursing services and meet the standards of care. But in fact the nurse is very lazy to do the documentation of nursing care, which is considered to increase the workload for nurses and to be an unpleasant job. Workload, motivation, and characteristics are predicted associates with the implementation of nursing care documenting in hospitals. This study aims to determine the relationship workload and motivation to the implementation of nursing care documenting in General Hospital, dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu. Method: The study was a descriptive analytic with cross sectional design. Samples are nurses who numbered 82 people, drawn by stratified random sampling. The collection of data used primary data in the form of questionnaires, observation guidelines, guidelines for clarification, and secondary data. Analysis data with univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using chi square test, multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression. Results: Results showed that half (50%) of respondents carry out nursing care with the category of documentation is incomplete. From the Chi Square analysis showed that independent variables associated with the implementation documentation of nursing care is the level of education (p = 0.01). While the multivariate analysis showed that independent variables associated with the implementation documentation of nursing care is also variable educational level (OR: 16.7). Suggestion: To improve the implementation documentation of nursing care in General Hospital, dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu suggested to the director to improve nursing education to undergraduate education in nursing or NERS in order to increase the proportion of nurses educated in strata one of a nursing or NERS.
