2.Tender documents may be purchased from the Office of the General Manager, Jayant Project/General Manager (Civil), NCL, Singrauli from 21-3-13 to 30-3-13 on deposit of the cost of tender document in cash (non-refundable) with the Cashier, NCL,Jayant/ Singrauli up to 1.00 PM on all working days/ DD in favour of NCL JNT A/c only, payable at SBI, Jayant. . 3. Tenders must be submitted in 2 (Two) parts as specified in the tender document in the office of GM, Jayant Project (MP)/CGM,. Khadia Project (UP)/General Manager (Civil), NCL, Singrauli on 03-4-13 upto 11.00 AM. Part - I of the Tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.00 PM. 4. .Earnest money should be furnished in the form of Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque in favour of NCL Jayant A/c. only payable at SBI, Jayant Branch.. In case , the cost of tender document/EMD is submitted through any other branch of nationalized bank, then the realization/service charges Rs.200.00 per Rs.20,000.00 or part thereof is to be paid extra.. However, in case of Bankers cheque issued from Rewa Sidhi Gramin Bank, Jayant, Union Bank of India, Dudhichua and Union Bank of India, Nigahi or Demand Draft/Bankers \cheque payable at Rewa Sidhi Gramin Bank, Jayant, Union Bank of India, Dudhichua and Union Bank of India, Nigahi, the additional service charges of Rs.200/is not required. Tenders not accompanied with earnest money (as stated above) are liable for outright rejection. 5. The minimum eligibility criteria for consideration for award of the contract shall include the following: (a) The intending tenderer must have in its name as prime contractor experience of having successfully completed similar works during last 7 (seven) years ending last day of month previous to the one in which bid applications are invited (i.e. eligibility period) should be either of the following: Three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost.

OR Two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost. OR One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost. b. Average annual financial turnover of civil work during the last 3 (three) years, , ending 31st March of the previous financial year should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. c. Work The intending tenderer must submit documentary evidence in support of 5 (a) & (b) above in the form of certified copy of work order, completion certificate, payment certificates/vouchers indicating the period of work for which the payment has been made. In addition, the intending tenderer has to submit the following : Photo copy of Permanent Income Tax Account Number. Particulars of Registration with appropriate Sales Taxes Authorities. The tenderer should ensure implementation of CMPF & Miscellaneous Provision Act 1948 and allied scheme. The tenderer should submit affidavit in this regard duly authenticated by Notary OR Those tenderers who are registered under EPF scheme and their employees covered under the said scheme may continue to operate under EPF scheme. They should furnish such proof. The intending tenderer has to submit particulars of Registration with Service Tax Authority.

The validity of tenders shall be 4 (four) months from the date of opening of price bid or revised price bid, if any. 7. No subletting of work as a whole by the contractor is permissible. 8. If any person is found representing 2(Two) or more firms by way of Power of Attorney, his all tenders represented by him will be out rightly rejected 9. Any tenderer who desires to download the tender document from website and submit the tender on due date and time may do so subject to the condition that they will deposit the cost of tender document through DD/BC/Pay Order, in favour of NCL Jayant A/c only payable at SBI, Jayant Branch or in case the cost of tender document is submitted through any other branch of nationalized bank, then realization and service charges as per clause 4 above shall be applicable.
