The intelligence of radio smoke detectors is entering a new dimension of safety and security with the Basic and Pro radio modules (collective alarm) for Genius Hx. If in the event of a re all the detectors have triggered the alarm state, all the radio smoke detectors that are not at the actual location of the re can be muted by simply pressing the test button on the detector. Repeater To bridge greater distances and reliably transmit the radio signal each Genius Hx radio smoke detector is equipped with a repeater. It acts as a signal amplier by picking up the radio signal and forwarding it to the nearest detector. And even if a radio signal fails, the repeater automatically searches for the fastest possible route to the next detector.
Equipped with the Basic or Pro radio module the Genius Hx becomes the radio smoke detector Hx.

Thanks to the repeater function the radio signal is picked up and forwarded to the nearest detector.

Collective alarm With the Genius Hx radio smoke detector up to 6 collective alarm lines can be set up for the specic alarming or alarm forwarding of selected areas. That means for example that the alarm signal from a re in an apartment is forwarded to the entire stairway or vice versa.
