Girl Scout Sunday, April 14 - Due to prior commitments, the Girl Scouts could not participate in our Scout Sunday service. They are going to assist with the service next Sunday. During Fellowship Time, they are going to auction baked goods to raise money for summer camp. Canned Food Sunday, April 14 - The following items are needed to pack boxes: Evaporated milk & dry milk packets. Please remember all items must be new and unopened. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry. Its a Toddler Shower!! Please come & help us celebrate the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our church family, Davis Warren Allen. We will be having a toddler shower in Fellowship Hall on Wed, April 17 from noon to 2 pm. We hope you can be there to help us celebrate. MODELs (Mostly Older Debutantes Eating Lunch) will meet at Panera Bread, 2370 SE College Rd. on April 18 at 12:30 pm. If you plan to attend, please email your reservation to dhumcvol@yahoo.com or call the office by April 16. Dont forget to bring a dollar to be donated to a charity at the end of the year. Moving Forward - On April 1, 12 ladies attended the first meeting of this support group. We enjoyed refreshments & with each persons input, we are moving forward. We will be meeting the first Monday of every month for some type of social activity, e.g. bag lunch picnics, concerts, free activities within the community. Some of us plan to attend the Kingdom of the Sun concert April 27 at MTI at 2 pm. We will meet at 1 pm in the church parking lot to carpool. Our next meeting will be May 6 in Fellowship Hall at 11 am. Please bring a bag lunch & beverage. If you have any questions, please see Linda Hughes or Doris Pitts.
