I think they do or Chrstopher Paolini will add a twist. Angela said he would marry one of noble blood.

I have a hunch that is wll end up sort of like the meona tree. (It is in Eldest) I don't know for sure yet though so who knows he could marry Someone else Angela actually said he would fall in love with one of noble blood Actually Angela said he would also have an epic romance. So the person that he falls in love with would fall in love with him too. I do think that Arya will fall in love with Eragon at one point in the story, but that doesn't mean they will get married. I also do think that whoever Eragon will fall in love will be the 3rd Dragon Rider if it's a girl. So whether or not that's Arya idk, but I do think it will be an Elf. :-)

it could be Nasuada she is of nobel blod songjongsuk: there is a part during eragon and roran's journey to Helgrind where they talk about arya. Eragon said that he will have to marry an elf or a Rider because no one else is immortal. I think its going to be arya. I agree that the fourth book will be too late to introduce a new character that eragon falls in love with. tacofish47: in book 3 roran asks eragon if he loved arya, then saphira said:if he loved her any more I would be trying to kiss her! i laughed my f****** face off at this because i imagined Arya just sitting there minding her own business, and then this massive dopey dragon...well i cant imagine a dragon kissing like humans do and thats one of the reasons i found it so funny! Eragon will probably get really pissed off at Arya and just f*** her in her sleep. hinklez: you also have to remember the dream he has in the Chapter Deathwatch in Eragon he has a dream where he sees two people get onto an elven ship. they are arm in arm with a group of silver haired people. they walk onto a ship and one person is left on the beach apparantly beaten and scowling. as the dream fades he sees two dragons fly overhead. this added to the fact that angela says he will leave alagaesia forever leads us to believe he is one boarding the ship either with another rider or just another elf... Well i think he will get together with arya. the main reason is that i do not think the next rider will be female due to the fact that thier r no other charecters besides arya that i believe would best fit the position of a rider unless of course the twist that christopher paolini has in mind is that oromis has a daughter. but i dont even see how there is gonna be another rider . if the last egg is so close to galbatorix and murtagh unless they find an egg somewhere in alagaesia. well i think that roran will be the next dragon rider. it makes sense cuz they're all part of the same family. and also i think that in the third book arya is starting to like eragon and shes starting to let it show a little bit. like when she heals his hand after fighting the soldiers when he is perfectly capable of doing it himself, and when he gets on saphira to

go fight thorn, she says in the ancient language "be careful, eragon. i would not want to see you broken by murtagh. i . . ." i think she was gona say somthin like i love you or somthing like that but decided not to in the end. also she was speaking in the ancent language so she could not lie. so i basicly think that eragon is going to fight galbatorix and then hes going to survive and aryas gonna run up to him and through her arms around him and kiss him and then i think they'll rescue the last egg since galbatorix is now dead and it will hatch for roran.
