Dear Family, It must have been amazing in the days after Jesus rose from the dead when he was appearing to all people including his mother and the Apostles. The excitement must have been electrifying as people began to say I saw Jesus!, I saw His wounds!, I was healed in His presence! Everything he said to us was true. The followers of Jesus were not afraid of death, they saw the power and glory of God firsthand. We do not have that experience of seeing Jesus in person but we do see Him when the priest holds the body and blood of Christ at Mass. We also see Jesus when people are healed by the power of the Holy Spirit when they have hands laid on them in prayer. We see Him unfolding in springtime reflected in flowers, grass and budding trees. I see Jesus more and more in each of you who are His sons and daughters. Did you ever think I am a walking, living tabernacle of Jesus, an awesome thought. Another awesome thought because we believe and have faith is that we will be with our brother Jesus and our Father and the Holy Spirit one day in the kingdom of heaven. Personally, I cannot wait. In the Lords Love, Fr. Jim Curtin We Welcome New Parishioners!

As a gift to humanity, which sometimes seems bewildered and overwhelmed by the power of evil, selfishness, and fear, the Risen Lord offers His love that pardons, reconciles, and reopens hearts to love. It is a love that converts hearts and gives peace. How much the world needs to understand and accept Divine Mercy!
~ Bl. Pope John Paul II, Regina Caeli message, written to be delivered April 3, 2005 (Divine Mercy Sunday, the day following his death)
