Tech in Electronics and Communication Engg/Electrical & Electronics Engineering M.Tech. in Computer Integrated Manufacturing & Automation: B.E. /B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering. M.Tech in Thermo-fluid Engineering: B.E. /B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering. Relaxation: 5% marks will be relaxed to SC/ST/PWD category candidates for all courses. How to apply: Information Brochure along with the Application form may be obtained from 26th March to 29th April, 2013 either personally from the PG Cell, Academic Branch of the Institute on cash payment of Rs.1000.00 during Office hours or by sending a request along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1050.00. Detailed Information Brochure with the Application Form may also be obtained from the Institutes Website. The downloaded Application form from the Website must accompany a Demand Draft of Rs.1050.00 only. All drafts should be in favour of DIRECTOR, NERIST payable at State Bank of India, Nirjuli (Code No. 9535). The Application forms received after 29th April, 2013 will not be considered in any case.

Programmes and Eligibility Criteria:

M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics: 55% marks in aggregate for pass course and 50% in major/honours in B.Sc. M.Sc. in Forestry: 4 years B.Sc. in Forestry/ Agriculture / Horticulture with 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA 3.25 on a 5.00 point scale for General Category. MBA: (Full Time): Bachelor Degree in any discipline approved by All India University, with 55% marks in aggregate and 50% for SC/ST category. (Part Time): Bachelor Degree in any discipline approved by All India University, with minimum of 5 years work experience at managerial level. Admission to M. Tech. programmes: Candidates must have at least 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 3.25 in 5.00 point scale for General Category with valid GATE score. M.Tech. in Farm Machinery & Power: B.E. /B. Tech. or equivalent in Agricultural Engineering/Mechanical Engineering. M.Tech. in Soil & Water Conservation: B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent in Agricultural Engineering/Civil Engineering. M.Tech. in Environmental Science & Engineering: B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/Mechanical Engg. /Chemical Engineering. M.Tech. in Geotechnical Engineering: B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/Mechanical Engg. /Chemical Engineering. M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering: B.E./B. Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science & Engineering. M.Tech. in Information Technology: B.E. /B.
