BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: Section 1. A. $900 million dollars will be reallocated each year from the Department of Defense budget to the Department of Education budget to organize after-school programs geared towards teaching low-income students a specific vocational trade, as well funding grants to send these students to vocational schools. 30% of the funds will be allotted to the after-school programs, while 70% will be earmarked for grant money. The after-school programs will be taught by trade professionals or certified teachers. Local school boards will work with principals on a school-byschool basis to determine need for the program. A low-income student shall be defined as a student in grades K-12 whose family makes less than $40,000. Vocational schools shall be defined as post-secondary educational institutions that teach a trade rather than provide a college diploma. The Department of Education will oversee implementation of this bill. This law will take effect within six months of passage, and following a three year trial, renewal can and will be discussed. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: Section 1. A. A supplemental tax of 500% shall be levied upon the sale of all types of ammunition including all online purchases. The aforementioned tax shall be reduced to 200% upon presentation and confirmation of a valid firearm license and evidence of a background check. Any summation of purchases totaling over 1500 individual pieces of any ammunition in one month warrants an audit by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Twenty five percent (25%) of the revenue generated by this tax will go towards funding the audits. The remaining seventy five percent (75%) will fund gun buyback programs across the US through individual police departments. Ammunition is defined as cartridge cases, primers, bullets, or propellant powder designed for use in any firearm. Firearm is defined as a weapon designed to discharge one projectile or more at high velocity through the confined burning of a propellant. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will oversee the implementation of this bill. This law will take effect within six months of passage. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

The EPA will conduct biannual inspections in order to ensure strict adherence to environmental regulations. The ANWR region will continue to be overseen by the Department of the Interior. The term Patent shall be defined as the intellectual property awarded to an innovator who is willing to protect his claimed invention from harm and theft. further patent litigation solely based upon infringement of software patents must be dismissed, and new patents shall not be awarded without any technical merit or only serve to help the interaction between hardware and software. All Pennies currently circulated as U.S Currency shall be no longer accepted as commerce by the United States Treasury Department, and shall be melted down; ceasing the production of said coins immediately. The remaining pennies shall not be allowed to be held by any U.S citizen with any intention other than to collect. Pennies shall be no longer used as a form of debt payment in the United States or its respective territorial holdings, nor shall it be continued to be produced as a coin of regular commercial circulation. This seizure of production will effectively eliminate the loss in profit in producing said coin, as its cost in material is worth more than its regulated value. The United States Mint shall be responsible for executing the contingencies of the aforementioned bill, in conjunction with the U.S Treasury department. BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: Section 1. The American Fair Labor Standards Act will be amended to extend to all foreign countries that export to the United States. Companies based in the United States that employ foreign workers and international companies that export goods to the United States will be penalized if they do not treat all of their workers, even those not US citizens, according to the standards set by the American Fair Labor Standards Act. A. The penalty specified in Section 1 will consist of a 10% fine on goods sold by companies, both domestic and international, that do not abide by American labor standards. Companies that abide by American Fair Labor Standards will be allowed to label their goods as Made by American Standards. The Department of State, the Internal Revenue Service, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will be in charge of implementing this bill. The Internal Revenue Service will enforce the fine. OSHA will regulate the labor standards designated in Section 1. The FTC will oversee the distribution of the Made by American Standards designation. The State Department will be in charge of supervising these efforts. This law will take effect within six months of passage. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

Be it enacted by this Student Congress here assembled that: Section I. Thirty billion dollars shall be allocated to the research, development, and deployment of weather modification technology. Weather modification technology is technology capable of intentionally manipulating or altering the climate or weather. This technology will include both space-based and terrestrial technologies, including, at a minimum, solar shields and cloud seeding. The National Science Foundation will be given discretion over the allocation of funding among the following organizations: the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA), the Department of the Interior, the Department of Energy, and the Fund for Innovative Climate and Energy Research (FICER). The National Science Foundation may submit requests for additional funding one year after passage of this legislation. The allocation shall take place immediately upon passage of this bill. All other laws that are in conflict with this new policy shall hereby be declared null and void.
