If you are not taking the Louisiana bar exam this summer (i.e., you need to defer your BarBri course to a later Louisiana bar exam date or you need to transfer your summer 09 file to another states BarBri course), please email la.bar@barbrigroup.com immediately!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ACTION REQUIRED!

Materials Shipment: Our records indicate that you are enrolled for the Louisiana Summer 2009 BarBri course in preparation for the July 2009 Louisiana bar exam. Materials for the summer 2009 course will begin shipping at the end of this month (April) into the early part of May. All materials are shipped via UPS Ground. Materials will not be available at the course location for pickup. The following materials will be included in your shipping order: 2009 Louisiana: Code volume (LAC) 2009 Louisiana: Non-Code volume (LANC) 2009 Louisiana Essay Testing volume (LAT) 2009 Louisiana Handouts volume (LAH)

You must confirm your shipping address following the steps below before the above materials can be shipped out to you. 1. 2. 3. Go to www.barbri.com. Choose Log In (green box on the right) Enter your User Name and Password (follow prompts if you have forgotten either or both; if you still have trouble logging in to your account, contact tech support at 877-385-6238) Once logged in, select My Account (first command in center under Enrolled Student Center) Select Update Personal Information (from the left) Review your address and update if necessary; note that materials cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes or addresses outside the contiguous 48 states of the United States. Check the box above your information ; I have confirmed my shipping address. Click Submit (at the very bottom of the screen).

Once you have completed the shipping confirmation process above and have paid your account in full, you should expect to receive your materials no later than the end of the week of May 4. Materials cannot be shipped until (1) your account is paid in full and (2) a shipping address has been confirmed. Note again: you must satisfy both criteria for materials to be shipped to you. Payments on your account can be made at www.barbri.com by choosing My Account and selecting Make A Payment. Schedules: Summer 2009 schedules for all locations and sessions (Baton Rouge A.M., Baton Rouge P.M., New Orleans A.M. and New Orleans P.M.) are confirmed and posted on the Louisiana page of the website under Summer 2009 Schedules on the left. Remember to consult the course schedule to know what materials to bring to which class. I.D. Cards: I.D. cards and materials receipt verification statements will be mailed via regular USPS to all paid in full students the week of May 4 to the address that you have confirmed online. You must sign and date the verification statement and bring it to the registration period on the first day of your course. You must also have your I.D. with you at all times during class and visible to BarBri personnel and staff. Registration Period: Registration periods will take place an hour before the start of the first class session (e.g., registration starts 7:30 a.m. on May 18 for Baton Rouge A.M.; 7:30 a.m. on May 20 for New Orleans A.M.; 4:30 p.m. on May 26 for Baton Rouge P.M.; 4:30 p.m. on May 27 for New Orleans P.M.) At registration, you will: Follow arrows at the course location to the place of your last names registration line Present your BarBri I.D. card and government-issued photo I.D. to the on-site administrator Turn in your signed and dated materials receipt verification statement (top part of your BarBri I.D. card sheet) Turn in completed forms for course location parking and building access if applicable (information forthcoming) Receive your copy of the February 2009 Louisiana bar exam and model answers ** Note that students who show up for registration without their BarBri I.D. card and verification statement in hand will not be issued the February 2009 exam and answers and will not be allowed admittance to the lecture hall for class.
