Good eating habit is the key to make us alive and kicking. Thus, this article will discuss on some dos and donts of healthy eating. First of all, we must take meals that are well balanced such as vegetables, fruits, milk and meat. Balanced diet is crucial because it gives us all the significant nutrients that are necessary to our body proteins, minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates, and so on. Besides, it is advisable to drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Next, food preparation must be hygienic. Keep in mind that the surrounding is always clean. Food must be covered so that flies and insects do not land on the food, therefore the food will be free from germs, dust or any unwanted contaminers. Cleanliness is next to godliness therefore cleanliness is very essential because it can avoid us from diseases. How about the donts? Always avoid eating in places that are filthy. A place is unhygienic mainly because of the dust, rats, flies and stagnant water. Thus, we are prone to get illnesses such as cholera, diarrhoea, food poisoning and others. Instead, look for a place that is clean because there is no use crying over the split milk for suffering illnesses. Furthermore, avoid junk food such as French fries, snacks and chocolates that is harmful to our health. Junk foods are hazardous because they do not provide us with enough nutrients. Furthermore, junk foods usually contain many sugar, salt, seasoning and preservative that lead to obesity, toothache, high blood pressure and diabetes. In conclusion, it does not cost an arm and a leg to practice a good eating habit. Make sure you are well-informed of the food pyramid and put your best foot forward to make this routine as a part and parcel of our life.
