in a rough economy, and a cookie drive to bring even the briefest moment of comfort to our troops in Afghanistan. In addition to nurturing the community through Active Cares, Rhonda has enhanced an organization called Active Fit dedicated to nurturing Active International employees themselves. The group organizes in house fitness competitions where employees can win prizes like $100 contributions toward their health benefits. The organization also sponsors Lunch and Learn sessions where employees are guided by a nutritionist through the on-site cafeteria on how to make the healthiest choices out of whats available to them. Annual cholesterol and glucose screenings are also made available to all employees. Rhonda also combined her love of yoga with a passion for instilling well-being to those around her by teaching an

introductory yoga class to her coworkers. Green initiatives and restocked vending machines with healthy snacks round out many of the positive changes inspired by Rhonda and Active Fit. To turn ones passion into ones life work is a frequent aspiration that is seldom attained. The combination of Rhondas commitment to spreading general health and well being, with Active Internationals willingness to incorporate her passion and creativity into her work has helped create a corporate culture unlike any other. In her own words, my purpose is to bring joy to people, and my job has been created to my lifes purpose.
