GRAMAR SKILLS The Spanish grammar for a correct writing and speaking expression is the main content of this subject.

SPEAKING LESSONS

Speaking skills will be developed in this subject, which is focused, specially, on pronunciation.

DAILY LANGUAGE

In this subject students will learn useful language, needed vocabulary and expressions, for daily situations.

EXAMS PREPARATION

Although all the subjects will be useful for preparing DELE exams, in this subject it will work on the specific activities and tasks which are part of the exam through practice and real exercises.

TANDEM

Tandem methodology consists on a cultural face-to-face exchange between two people from different countries. In it English will use half time and the other half time it will speak in Spanish. Likewise, half time will be dedicated to the Spanish culture and the other half to the no Spanish culture. The cultural exchange will be carried out in an informal conversation, which will be guided by a language assistant instead of a traditional teacher. This language assistant will have a good level of both languages and will prepare materials for the cultural exchange.

Music and cinema are part of a culture and, at the same time, they are resources for learning a language. This explains the SPANISH MUSIC AND methodology of this subject. Students will work with songs and CINEMA parts of Spanish films so they will learn the language (specially they will develop their listening skills) and meanwhile they will learn some aspects of the Spanish culture.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUBJECTS

There are different European projects so recognizing them is essential for choosing that one which is the most appropriate for our objectives. This subject will provide the theoretical knowledge needed for knowing the peculiarities and the main characteristics of each European project and the useful information of their calls. This knowledge will be achieved through the study of real Projects.

PROJECTS ELABORATION

This subject will be a creative workshop for learning how to elaborate a European project.

Searching partners is essential for developing European projects. PARTNERS SEARCH However, is not an easy work. Therefore, this subject will ease this search providing key knowledges and effective tools for a proper partners choice.

SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITES

These activities will be afternoon activities thought for showing the cultural and social aspects of Spain and Asturias more

specifically. Besides, they will be social and cultural activities intrinsically since they will be the moment for the cultural exchange between all the attendants sharing, in an informal way, experiences, points of view, curiosities of their societies and cultures...

GUIDED VISIT Gijn is the biggest city of Asturias and the only one where is AROUND GIJN CITY possible to walk next to the sea. This visit will offer the CENTER opportunity to know its historical center, its port and its beaches.

TALASOPONIENTE SPA

In the city center of Gijn, between the beach and the sport port, is Talasoponiente, a center for leisure, health and beauty based on the benefits of the sea. During three hours visitors will enjoy of the cave with water curtain, the cross-current river, the swimming pool, the multi-purpose pool, the seawater pool with swan necks, the heater outdoor pool

GASTRONOMIC TOUR

Food tastes different in Asturias, one of the most popular regions in Spain because of its cooking. This tour will give the keys to understand why

GIJN AQUARIUM

In Gijn Aquarium visitors will travel around the aquatic ecosystems of the world: from the rivers of Asturias up to the icy ecosystems, home of the pingins; crossing the warm waters with their wonderful corals and tropical fish, the African Indic Ocean, habitat of tortoises and sharks... and many more surprising places!

GUIDED VISIT AROUND OVIEDO

Oviedo is the capital city of Asturias. In this guided tour it will visit the historical city center of Oviedo and the pre-romanesque churches of Santa Mara del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo.

WALK IN THE COAST Walk next to the coast enjoying the wonderful views of the city and the sea. GUIDED TOUR TO A LLAGAR In this tour it will be shown the process to make natural cider. At the end of it visitors will taste the result: the cider.

BOTANICS GARDENS AND LABORAL CITY OF CULTURE

This visit will combine culture and nature. Visitor will enjoy the views form the Labour City and the natural environment of the Botanic Gardens.
