Dear DME Families, There is only one month of school left for the 2012 2013 school year! Can you believe it? What an amazing year it has been. With your help and support the PTO has been able to do many wonderful things for the school. Most recently we have been able to: *Provide $3,000.00 to cover the cost of all grade levels for end of the year eld trips *Purchase 1 year of Brain Pop, Brain Pop JR, & Brain Pop Spanish for the entire school - $2,095.00 *Provide $500.00 to purchase Presidents Challenge Awards for students *Reserve Mad Science for students who have reached all of their AR goals this year - $400.00 *Provide FREE breakfast for all students during AIMS testing week *Provide snacks to all AIMS testing students

We raised $187 from our McDonalds McTeacher night! Thank you to those that came out and a HUGE thank you to the teachers for volunteering!

Earlier in the year the PTO provided each grade level with $1,500.00 to spend on needed classroom items that would benet students. I am pleased to say that the PTO has purchase all of the requested items such as classroom books, math, science, and language arts activities and games, white boards, and so much more! As the year draws to an end the DME PTO would like to thank all of our amazing parents, students, families, and school staff that has supported us. Pancakes for Parents

We are Thankful for Parents! We would like to thank YOU for all that YOU do for Desert Mountain Elementary School! The PTO is very thankful for parents like you who give so much to our school in time, donations, and support. As a way to honor you, the PTO will be hosting a special breakfast for you and your family. Friday, April 26th 7:00am-8:30am at the Cafeteria

We will be serving pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice to our great parents. Dont miss this fun and FREE event!

Spirit Night at Quiznos and Coldstone Creamery Friday, May 10th

Stop by Quiznos from 2pm-9pm and they will donate 30% of all sales back to Desert Mountain! NO FL YER NEEDED! Then, from 5pm-9pm, stop by Coldstone Creamery right next door for dessert! 20% of all sales go back to Desert Mountain! At 7:00 pm come see Mr . Schultz be made into a human sundae by students from the grade level that wins the coin war!

This is a great opportunity to raise funds for the school and the school district. Tell your family and friends!

The MidFirst Bank Coin Van will also be on site from 5-9pm counting the money from coin war! They will match all donations made up to $1,000!! $500 of the money raised will be donated to the Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation.

A penny is 1 point for your grade level, a nickel is 5 points, a dime is 10 points and a quarter is 25 points. But watch out for those dollar bills, because they are negative points! Each dollar bill takes away 100 points!
