RACV Royal Pines Resort Hosts Australias Biggest Morning Tea

Immediate Release: The 20th Australias Biggest Morning Tea will be celebrated in style next month when the RACV Royal Pines Resort hosts an official charity event for the Gold Coast Cancer Council. General Manager John Morris and Cancer Council QLD Regional Fund-raising Co-ordinator Shannan Walker say they intend for this years milestone event to be the biggest and best since the first Australias Biggest Morning Tea in 1994. A total of $110 million has been raised across Australia since the Cancer Council initiated the morning tea. On Thursday 16 May RACV Royal Pines expansive convention lobby will host Australias Biggest Morning Tea event and will be supported by the Cancer Council Queensland. Guests will be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and morning tea treats will range from chocolate macaron tartlets to rosella mini cheesecakes and fresh scones. Entertainment will include a fashion parade by Charlie Brown Marina Mirage, live music, and mini- makeovers by the resorts One Spa team. Nine Networks Petrina Zaphir will be the master of ceremonies. Australias Biggest Morning Tea has dual aims to raise funds and to create awareness. The funds raised are used for vital cancer research, for patient support programs and for education programs.
