Yarn: 1 skein Madelinetosh Tosh Lace ( 100% superwash merino wool;


950 yds) in Mica. The yarn is held double throughout pattern.

Needles & Notions: US 6 (4.0 mm) needles. Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows = 4 / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch. Finished Size: 12 X 43 after blocking. Glossary: K = knit; K2tog = knit 2 together; P = purl; RS = right
side; SL = slip as if to purl; Sts = stitches; YO = yarn over; WS = wrong side.

Using your favorite provisional cast-on method, cast on 89sts holding yarn double. Row 1 (WS): SL1, P1, K1, *P5, K1; repeat from * to last 2 sts, P2. Row 2 (RS): SL1, K1, P1, *K1, YO, K2, K2tog, P1; repeat from * to last 2 sts, K2. Row 3: repeat row 1. Row 4: SL1, K1, P1, *K2tog, K2, YO, K1, P1; repeat from * to last 2 sts, K2. Repeat Rows 1-4 until desired length, ending after completing Row 4. Unpick provisional cast-on placing live sts back onto needle and threeneedle bind-off to seam the two ends together. Block to desired width and length.
