Small wonder so many people have fallen in love with this relaxing, immersive and thoroughly enjoyable form of travel.

Viking River Cruises every detail matters

Inspiring destinations, beautifully designed itineraries, expert tour guides, luxurious ships, ne cuisine, excellent service, remarkable value our success is dened by all these things, and something else, too: personal attention to every detail. Its the way the bartender has your drink ready for you at just the right time. Its the gentle guidance from your tai chi master in a lesson you take while sailing along the Yangtze. Its the handwritten directions from your concierge to the best coffeehouse in Vienna. Because we own and operate our ships, no detail, however small, escapes our attention. It is what sets us apart from our competitors. Every aspect of your cruise, from the expertly designed menus to the carefully crafted enrichment program and from the beautifully appointed ships to the perfectly planned itineraries, we pay attention to those little things that matter. At Viking, we never forget that looking after you is why we have become the worlds leading river cruise line. Why our guests return to cruise with us, again and again. Marvel at riverside views

Celebrating fine food in the company of friends

We believe that the most important ingredient of a great meal is the company of friends, old and new. Our ships restaurants are intimate, comfortable and inviting; our service friendly and attentive. Much of the joy of travel is in the discovery of new and exciting dishes and the places they represent. While our highly trained chefs are passionate about food, they are even more passionate about providing a memorable experience.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS
We know that a croissant and a cappuccino taste best on the Viking Longships Aquavit Terrace, as the river comes to life in the early morning. That a casual lunch in the lounge gives you an extra half hour to explore your favorite port. That the days discoveries must be shared over a good glass of wine and that dinner is a time to savor exceptional food and stay a little longer to talk and to listen to another story. We present you with choices for breakfast, Looks like Viking has a winner on its hands the pleasure of sitting at the Aquavit Terrace for lunch while the ship slices through the rivers of Europe.

in the restaurant. And for dinner, savor the artistry of our chefs with a multi-course menu or enjoy an evening under the stars on the Aquavit Terrace. In the company of friends.

A VISUAL, EDIBLE FEAST

Vikings signature Taste of... events introduce you to the food and drink of the region. Displays of colorful fruit sit alongside a smorgasbord of delicacies, such as you might find in a traditional caf. Pretzels and sweet mustard, leberwurst and Klsch are some of the many tasty treats at A Taste of Germany. Surrounded by ever-changing riverside scenery, it is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with fellow guests and enjoy a delicious orientation to the areas cuisine.

lunch and dinner. Not just in the dishes you may enjoy, but also in where and how you enjoy them. Greet the morning with a warm muffin and freshly brewed coffee on deck, or start your day with a sumptuous buffet breakfast. Have a casual lunch al fresco, or join friends for a more elaborate affair

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX

Instead of 4 Standard staterooms, the new Viking design gives you 2 full-size staterooms and 1 true suite, all 3 with full-size verandas
We wanted to offer enough true suites and staterooms with full verandas to meet guest demand without compromising stateroom size. So to provide our guests with more choice of staterooms and an enhanced onboard experience, we came up with a unique idea:
s

While industry standard is to have the corridor symmetrically through the middle, we shifted the corridor one meter to the side We then used the extra space on one side to include a full-size veranda By rotating the orientation of the rooms on the now shorter side we have created one true suite with two full-size rooms, a full-size veranda and a French balcony

GOING GREEN
Our Viking Longships energy-efficient hybrid engines gently sail our ships along Europes storied waterways; with far less vibration, they are the quietest ships on the rivers. And, weve taken the next step in our environmental responsibility by adding two additional green features: solar panels and an organic herb garden atop the sun deck.

Choice: Its your day enjoy it your way

Your journey is different from everyone elses. Some days you want to see beyond every hill, visit every attraction, look in every shop. Other days you want to slow down and linger longer. Or, you may just feel like sitting at a sidewalk caf, watching the world go by.
EXPLORING ASHORE
So do you want to spend most of your time in port on a guided tour that takes in as much as possible? Would you prefer to see only the key sights with a local expert, before venturing out on your own? Or, would you rather go at your own pace today? Whatever your choice, you always have the freedom to do it your way, and we will help you every step of the way. Have you ever wanted to visit the vaults of the famed Hermitage Museum? Attend a classical concert in Vienna? Enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner show in Xian? Your Program Director can organize a variety of optional tours.

PERSONALIZE WITH OUR CONCIERGE SERVICE

While our tailor-made included and optional excursions are a great way to experience a port, you may want to go off the beaten path, beyond the key points of interest or on a personal quest. An appointment at the best spa in Prague? Reservations for dinner at one of Lyons Michelinstar restaurants? Tickets for a sporting event, theatrical performance or special exhibit? Our Viking Concierge is there to assist you in any way possible to make your dreams come true in every port. We would like you to think of each day of your itinerary as another opportunity to make your own choices to enjoy your day in your own way.

The best people the most personal service

Can a reservations agent make booking your vacation a pleasure? Can a waiter make you feel as if you are the most important person in the world? Can a concierge feel like a long-lost friend? Yes, if that team works for Viking. When you have the best people, you also have the best service.
SERVICE WITH A SMILE
