One day, while walking home from school, Sita heard the meowing of a kitten. She looked around and saw a weak and dirty kitten in a drain. She felt pity for it. She wanted to take home but remembered that her parents do not like having animals in the house. Still, Sita decided to take it home because she knew that the kitten would die if it is there. Upon reaching home, Sita called out her mother. She was surprised to see the kitten. Sita explained to her mother and promised to look after the kitten until it is well. She took very good care of it. After a few days it was playing around the house happily. Sita named it Ting-Ting. Everybody loved Ting-Ting.
