Annotated Bibliography Classroom Technology News. NewBay Media, n.d. Web. 12 Mar. 2013. This is a general website education technology leaders to come and find ideas and tools for teaching with technology incorporated into their classroom. This website is full of posts on different ideas on how to incorporate technology as well as videos that show examples of different types of digital technology that can be used. There are also articles that are linked on the website for whoever is interested. One of the main focuses on the page is product reviews of technologies that have been used in the classroom along with the personal opinion of the teacher that used them on the success rate in their classroom. There is tons of information on this website and I believe it would be highly useful for teachers to find new ideas to try in their classrooms. Looking through the website I see how this is very helpful to find ideas. I learned all sorts of cool things on this website; however, I do not think this website is useful for my research. I do think I would use this website in the future in my teaching career. The website sounded really good, but my only question is why did you think it wasnt useful?

Lam, Paul, and Aiden Tong. "Digital Devices In Classroom--Hesitations Of Teachers-To-Be." Electronic Journal Of E-Learning 10.4 (2012): 387-395. ERIC. Web. 19 Feb. 2013. This academic journal is based on the controversy between technologies being incorporated into the classroom. In this journal there are two studies that were done and being reflected on. The first study was having students do the majority of their school work on a computer for a semester and then reflecting on the learning benefits. The second study was having future teachers comment openly on their ideas about technology in classrooms. The study found that the use of digital devices were effective in enhancing

motivation, active exploration online, and also had other benefits. Some students felt as if the technologies were distracting at times though. Conclusions also find that while older teaching styles are helpful, new teaching styles need to be developed with the technology we have. This article is very credible in its statistics. It has a lot of solid information that can be looked at and studied to further conclusions in the future. I believe I will be using this research in my final project. Very nice, but it would be even better if you could expand the evaluation a little more by adding examples on why it was very credible.

Rosenberg, James. "Technology in the Classroom: Friend or Foe?" The Huffington Post. TheHuffingtonPost.com, 26 Oct. 2012. Web. 16 Feb. 2013. This newspaper article examines both sides of the argument to the question if technology in the classroom is a good or bad idea. It poses many good things about technology being incorporated and gives good specific examples as to why it should be. A couple arguments in favor are based on wanting to expose children to what they will be exposed to in the real world and ideas that children will be more motivated to learn when technology is incorporated. On the other hand it gives just as many reasons as to why it should not be incorporated into classrooms and also gives examples as to why it should not be. Arguments as to why it should not be in classrooms as a teaching tool are based on the ideas of technology not comparing to classroom discussions and their peers thoughts as well as computers not giving the interaction students need in an active classroom to give them more social skills. The article gets their information from two schools that have done research and experiments on this posed question. The article also goes on to show that this controversial topic poses a question of how education dollars should be spent. This article is a very good article that I will be referring to in my paper.

It has given me a basis to my research and something to branch off of as well as insight to feelings and ideas to both sides off the argument. I really like this one and I dont think anything is wrong with it Overall, good job!
