The skills I have been developing in my studies at NDSU make me feel qualified for the position I am pursuing.

Upon graduation this December from North Dakota State University I will have received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Individual and Family Wellness. The coursework I have completed so far has given me a very in-depth look into the development of children and also the different family dynamics. I have been developing my social and interaction skills with toddlers here at NDSU in the child care facility. I have successfully implemented age appropriate lesson plans as well as arranged environments that challenged the toddlers physically, cognitively, and social emotionally. I have done many baseball camps and find that I can relate very well with the children which allows them to feel comfortable around me. Helping children who are going through tough times is something that I feel very passionate about and the skills I have learned will assist in helping me to provide as much physical and emotional support these children need.

This position requires similar skills which I have developed in my coursework through NDSU which gives me confidence in working as an intern.
