During the past fifty years Chiappa Firearms has been able to overcome difficult challenges and pursue ambitious goals, with the constant focus on offering a product of value for the collectors of historical guns.
The root of this growth has been two great companies: Armi Sport and Kimar.
Armi Sport, with its birth in the WWII postwar period, rapidly established itself as a leader in historical firearm reproduction in Italy. These efforts were quickly realized throughout the world with a strong presence in the United States fuelled by the growing demand of reproduction firearms. During Armisports adolescence, Kimar was born, not to fulfil a void in the market , but to create a totally new market and trend in firearm reproduction. This market was virtually ignored prior to Kimar, which is now recognized internationally for the high quality of their blank firing guns.

Active in gun manufacturing and design from youth, Ezechiele Chiappa founded Armi Sport in 1958, specializing in the production of replica firearms. A charismatic leader and devoted to his lifes ambitions, as an entrepreneur, Ezechiele included his whole family in the growth of the company, enduring the struggle and sacrifice that was inevitable with such a tremendous challenge. 1987 was an important milestone for the Armi Sport organization: Rino Chiappa, son of Ezechiele, joined his father in the management of the company, adding to his fathers experience a more dynamic vision of the Company. Aware of the product value and sure of the strong potential represented by the US market, the young businessman restructured Armi Sports industrial strategies through large technological and marketing investments, giving the Company a more efficient structure. As Kimar evolved, Armi Sport expanded with diversity in the production of blank firearms. Adding yet another chapter into the growth of these companies was Costa Gianpietro processing, a company specializing in metal finishing , a significant example of research and production efficiency realized by the growth of Armi Sport and Kimar. In 2002, with the departure of Ezechiele Chiappa, the Chiappa family and the family of workers suffered a tremendous loss. Ezechiele Chiappas presence was always evident from his careful advice as the founder, his unquestioned leadership, and the companys long track of success. In the same year the Chiappa group consolidated with the opening of a new facility, which included a technologically advanced development center which was able to host research, product development, and project control of the manufacturing of Chiappa firearms. 2008 marks the 50th anniversary of Chiappa Firearms and the quality that has become their trademark, with many milestones yet to come. Chiappa Firearms is devoted to continue in the tradition of quality reproductions in firearms, while maintaining the highest standards of manufacture and design.

Figura carismatica e dedita alla propria attivit, limprenditore coinvolge tutta la famiglia nella crescita dellazienda, determinandone lo sviluppo con passione, impegno e sacrificio. Il 1987 lanno di unimportante svolta nellorganizzazione della Armi Sport: Rino Chiappa, figlio di Ezechiele, affianca il padre nella conduzione, sommando allesperienza del genitore una visione pi dinamica dellazienda. Consapevole del valore dei propri prodotti e convinto del forte potenziale rappresentato dal mercato americano, il giovane imprenditore rinnova le strategie industriali della Armi Sport attraverso ingenti investimenti in tecnologia e marketing, conferendo allazienda un migliore posizionamento.
Alla Armi Sport si affianca la Kimar, importante realt nel settore delle armi a salve, e la Costa Giampietro Trattamenti, azienda specializzata nei processi di trattamento delle parti metalliche, entrambe significativi esempi del forte impulso impresso alle attivit di ricerca e produzione. Nel 2002 la scomparsa di Ezechiele Chiappa lascia un vuoto profondo, privando familiari e colleghi dellattenta consulenza del fondatore, indiscusso protagonista del lungo e articolato processo di crescita aziendale. Nello stesso anno il gruppo di imprese Chiappa si consolida con lapertura della nuova sede, centro tecnologicamente avanzato in grado di ospitare tutte le fasi di ricerca, progettazione e sviluppo delle armi.

Ideal for hunting, with a 5 shell magazine + 1 in the chamber, but also fast and accurate to use in CAS competitions, the 1887 Lever Action is surely one of the most interesting product of this catalog. Given the use done in Cowboy Action Shooting competitions, we have improven on a simple modification to allow, even to the beginners, to apply the famous fast load system the double load system. In few seconds its possible transform your 1887 single load to a double simoultaneaus load shotgun. Fundamental perquisite its the cartridge loading velocity; with a simple act youll be able to load two cartridges simoultaneously. Closing the breech block, one of the ammo goes directly in the chamber while the second one will go into the magazine. In addition it has been adopted a particularly effective ejection system. Dato lutilizzo che se ne fa nelle gare del Cow Boy Action Shooting, stata apportata una semplice modifica che permette, anche ai pi inesperti, di applicare il famoso fast load system, il sistema del doppio inserimento. In pochi secondi possibile trasformare il vostro 1887 da fucile a caricamento singolo a fucile a caricamento doppio simultaneo. Prerogativa fondamentale la velocit di inserimento cartucce; con un semplice gesto vengono inserite, contemporaneamente, due cartucce. Chiudendo la leva-otturatore una della due cartucce va, direttamente, in canna mentre laltra entra nel tubo caricatore. stato inoltre adottato un sistema di espulsione particolarmente efficace. Novit assoluta la presenza di una sicura innovativa ed affidabile; fintanto che lotturatore del tuo fucile non chiuso sulla cartuccia il percussore non esce; questo evita che, accidentalmente, un colpo possa partire ad otturatore semi aperto.

and Aaron Duke Pursley of Big Sandy, Montana to produce a 20% smaller version of the original Sharps rifle. The dependable old reliable design of the original Sharps rifle has been begging to be manufactured in a lighter rifle in smaller calibers for over a century. The production of this rifle is the culmination of a dream Ron and Duke have had for many years. Once the design was perfected, the next task was the search for a firearms manufacture that could maintain the level of quality demanded by Ron and Duke. Their search stopped at Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. With years of experience of remanufacturing the original 1874 Sharps design, Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. has been building one of the best reproductions of the 1874 Sharps available today. Their choice was clear, and now, their dream is reality; the Little Sharps is being manufactured by Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. and will be exclusively distributed in North America by Charles Daly.

rifle became one of the most popular lever actions of all time. It was based on his Model 1886, but reduced in size and chambered for the popular short cartridges used in the Winchester 1873. Simplification of the elevator and feeding system gave the 1892 a much smoother action than previous models. This makes 1892 replicas very popular with Cowboy competitors. Armi Sport has developed this line of lever action for the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. The most attention has been put at the internal parts CNC machined from solid steel, all interchangeable each other, screw thread in inches, all parts highly polished and hardened to allow the smoothest action. Carbine 20 has full length magazine, saddle ring on left side of receiver, forend kept in place by barrel band, available in caliber 44/40, 45lc, 357 mag/38sp.

Quando fu introdotto il modello Winchester 1892 fu giudicato meccanicamente pi forte e meno costoso da produrre del modello 73, con un totale di 1.004.675 pezzi prodotti dal
1892 al 1941 sia nella versione Takedown sia nella versione con bascula standard.
Il modello 1892 il lever action per antonomasia. Questo fucile larma pi maneggevole, dal meccanismo pi fluido tra le armi a leva mai offerta. La Armi Sport fiera di aggiungere alla sua linea di repliche una riproduzione del modello Takedown, il pi richiesto tra i Modelli 1892.

970.015 The Six Tube Blakeslee Box This was a six tube cartridge carrier with a wood block, bored with longitudinal holes to hold six tin tubes. The wood block was encased in smooth black leather, with a hinged leather lid to protect the open tops of the tubes. A leather strap held the loaded box under the troopers left arms, close to his body. Handcrafted in USA. 970.048 Spencer sling Designed as per the originals, this sling is worn over the shoulder and features a roller with large clip to attach to the Spencer saddle ring. Spencer initially produced the 1860 Spencer Carbine which was noted to be accurate and fire rapidly and hold seven metallic cartridges which werent affected by dampness and it didnt need caps to fire ! This new designed rifle could be fired more rapidly than a revolver and reloaded in a tenth of the time it would take to reload a Colt style revolver. In 1865, Spencer delivered the Model 1865 Spencer Carbine which was modified to correct the inherent flaws in the original design. The 1865 Spencer Carbine has been manufactured by Armi Sport recreating faithfully every little part in their details, all the components are made from solid piece of steel and cnc machined, in this way all the parts are fully interchangeable. 920.164 On 26 September 1874 Creedmoor witnessed a crowd of over five thousand people attending the first international shooting competition in America. At 800 yards the American had a good lead. The Irish gained on them at 900 yards, and by the time they had finished shooting at 1000 yards, were ahead of the Americans. In the end, the match was determined by the very last shot by the Americans. Shooting a bulls eye at 1000 yards to score 4, the Americans emerged the winners with 934 points to the Irish teams 931. In commemoration of this history USA Shooting team event, Chiappa and Cimarron Firearms are proud to offer the USA SHOOTING TEAM Model 1874 Creedmoor Sharps Rifle. (920.047) This Sharps carbine is a copy of the 1859 Percussion Sharps Military Carbine converted to centerfire. This firearm was then sold to Texas and issued to the Texas Rangers stationed on the Western Frontier. Each of the 36 original carbines were marked on the barrel by the Rangers with a T S and numbered as issued. The carbines will be produced in 45-70 and 50-70 calibers. The carbines feature case colored receivers, a blued steel barrel and parts. The wood is American black walnut as was used on the original Texas Ranger carbines.

The U.S. Model 1842 was the last smoothbore musket, while simultaneously being the first fully parts interchangeable (machine-made) and the first with a regulation percussion lock. It was not made in great numbers. Total production of both the Springfi eld and Harpers Ferry Armories was only 272,565 over the course of 12 years. A few of these smoothbore muskets were converted to Rifled Muskets and a fewer amount was converted to the two band Short Rifl ed Musket that is new for 2007. Often mistaken for an Artillery model, the short 33 inch barrel was a favorite for close quarters and mounted units. Both the Harpers Ferry and Springfield Armories produced the Model 1842 U.S. Percussion Musket in great numbers from 1844 to 1855. This reproduction is true to the original measurements, with a 42 barrel and a total length of 58 inches. The Model 1842 was notable in several aspects, mainly that it was the .69 caliber musket. Additionally, it was the first weapon made at both the Harpers Ferry and Springfield Armory with completely interchangeable parts. Harpers Ferry produced 103.000 while Springfield produced 172.000 for a total production surpassing a quarter of a million arms. This reproduction is nicely marked. The lockplate is stamped with Federal eagle in front of the hammer and vertically marked Spring-field in two lines behind the hammer. The lock and tang are dated 1847. The barrel is stamped with the correct style V.P. and eagle head proof marks are on the breech. The butt plate is marked U.S. The sling swivel are riveted as per the original. One piece walnut oil finished stock. NSSA Approved.

The C.S. Richmond musket was manufactured from 1861 to 1865 by the Richmond Armoury in Richmond, Virginia. US Model 1855 Percussion Rifle (910.002)

The Model 1855 was the first rifle musket to be produced in the United States. It was manufactured at both the Springfield and Harpers Ferry Armories. It was also the first rifle to use the .58 caliber minie ball which revolutionized warfare by allowing ease of loading yet attaining deadly accuracy. The lock of the model 1855 contained the Maynard tape primer system. This system eliminated the need of a percussion cap (although normal percussion caps were fully compatible with the Maynard system) by using a roll of caps to ignite the gunpowder. These caps were remarkably similar to a modern day roll caps for toy cap pistols. These weapons were primarily in the hands of the U.S. Regular army so very few state volunteers managed to get their hands on them. Only about 7,000 of these weapons were made and they were soon replaced by the Model 1861 Springfield. The model features a full one piece walnut hand oil finished stock. The lock features a non-functioning, Maynard Tape Primer, lid engraved with an American Eagle. The lid will open and close. Later models of the 1855 were manufactured with some changes from the earlier models, two leaf rear sight, iron forend cap and a patchbox on right side of butt. The 1853 3-Band Enfield Musket saw service in the hands of both Federal and Confederate during the Civil War. The 1853, also known as the First Model was manufactured between 1853 and 1863 by a large number of contractors including Royal Small Arms Factory and the London Armoury Company. This replica as all the features of the original including the one piece, oil finished American walnut stock, original styled barrel bands and blued barrel. The Enfield is accented with brass butt plate, trigger guard and nose cap as per the original. The V style mainspring in the percussion lock and military style sights compliment this fine musket. Developed for the British admiralty in the late 1850s, the 1858 Enfield Naval Pattern rifle was one of the most accurate weapons of its day. Case hardened lock, walnut stock with solid brass fittings. This version is a well balanced piece with an oil finished stock of American walnut as per the original. This musket features a case colored percussion lock, blued barrel bands and the correct style screws. The triggerguard, buttplate and nosecap are finished in brightly polished brass. The sweeping, graceful lines of this style of rifle make it one of the most recognizable arms in American history. Known as the Pennsylvania Kentucky or Stump rifle, this muzzleloader originated around 1720. It was modified from the short German Jaeger hunting rifle into a longer, slimmer, lightweight gun that used a reduced powder charge and a smaller caliber projectile. When the percussion lock was developed in the early part of the 19th Century, most of the flint Kentuckys were converted to this new system. Their popularity continued well into the cartridge era. 940.003 - 940.000 Perfect companion piece to the Kentucky rifle. The Kentucky pistol evolved around the late 1760s. Approximately one pistol was produced to every 250 rifles. It was a popular sidearm carried by Frontiersmen and American Army Officers during the Revolutionary War. The pistol followed the style and mechanical characteristics of its counterpart, the Kentucky rifle. The percussion lock was developed during the 1840s, this design remained unchanged from the flintlock pistol, except for its improved ignition system. This piece is available in .45 caliber. Birds head grip stock with brass ramrod thimbles and color case hardened lock. The Kentucky pistol has a brass blade front sight and a steel open rear sight.
