Providing fire protection that sets the standards from detectors to control panels
When it comes to reliable detection, rapid signaling and correct reaction, Sinteso sets the standards in all three of these areas. At the field level, for example, Sinteso uses state-of-the-art fire detectors, and ASAtechnology guarantees against false alarms. Fast, fault-tolerant network technology ensures a very high level of security in communication between FDnet devices and the control panel. The control panels allow simple, intuitive operation, plain text displays and unambiguous instructions all of which reduce your stress in the event of an alarm.

Supporting all your needs from risk analysis to service

We start by developing the optimum solution both technically and economically to match the individual risk profile of the building or system. We include everything from operator training to service and modernization.

system operation. This is very useful, for example, when fire detection zones need to be reconnected after building renovation work.

Safety that goes further throughout your building

All Sinteso control panels can be networked with a danger management system. This can be used for monitoring and control of security systems, such as fire detection, intrusion, access and CCTV surveillance systems. Security service and reception personnel can keep a watchful eye on everything from a control room. The standard method of networking is via Ethernet using the BACnet communications protocol, an ideal foundation for integration of the control panels into a Siemens danger management system.

Efficiency throughout the entire life cycle

Economy with Sinteso starts right from the installation phase, whether it involves the simple installation of detectors or automatic configuration of the fire control panel. Moreover, the standard user interface of all control units results in shorter training times for operating personnel. Efficiency is also a key factor in the operating phase. For example, the FDnet-powered devices such as floor repeater terminals require no additional cabling for power supply. We can also provide remote access to the control panels for quick and simple support for

FCnet stations for different requirements. What is your type?

Requirements for fire detection technology depend on the size and scale of the building. As a result, requirements for the fire control panels also vary depending on the area of use. To ensure that the right control panel is always available to suit the various applications, Sinteso offers different FCnet stations that can be networked with one another.

How Sinteso control panels benefit you:

Customized control panels for different areas of use, whether the building is large or small, simple or complex Fire terminals for additional, remote system user interfaces, such as in the security monitoring room or the reception area Simple networking of control panels and fire terminals up to 16 FCnet stations Expandable networking via Ethernet

FC2020 the control panel for small-scale applications

The design of the FC2020 fire control panel is extremely small and compact. Up to two Sinteso loops or four stubs can be connected to accommodate a maximum of 252 FDnet devices such as fire detectors, alarms or floor repeater displays. Via FCnet, the FC2020 can also be networked with Sinteso control panels that are of the same design or more powerful. The FC2020 is particularly suitable for the following applications: small hotels workshops banks and branch post offices museums small-scale industrial operations retirement and nursing homes schools

FC2040 the control panel for medium-sized applications

The FC2040 fire control panel is the right choice for medium-sized areas of use. It can be connected to up to four Sinteso loops or eight stubs, thus accommodating up to 504 FDnet devices. This provides a good foundation for protecting medium-sized buildings. Since the FC2040 can be networked, it can also be used for monitoring extensive building complexes. Some examples of practical applications: medium-sized industrial operations office and administrative buildings shopping centers medium-sized hospitals hotel complexes university campuses

FT2040 the fire terminal for remote operation

The FT2040 fire terminal supplements the fire control panels, mirroring the displays and functions of the control panels with which it is networked. It thus allows the same system operation as the control panels, which is practical for adding further operating terminals some distance away from the control panels, for example in the security monitoring room or reception area. This enables the personnel to react more quickly to faults and alarms, from their own workstations, without having to go to the control panel.

Networking of control panels and terminals

The different control panels and the fire terminal can be networked with each other to protect large building complexes as well as to extend the fire detection system to extensions and factory buildings that are added later. Up to 16 fire control panels or fire terminals can be linked with each other via FCnet. The distance between two stations can be up to 1,000 m, or even considerably more if fiber-optic cables and network repeaters are used. Moreover, the FCnet can be expanded further via the Ethernet connection of the control panels to create heterogeneous networks.

Automatic configuration of the control panels

The autoconfiguration function for the control panels also simplifies start-up. Moreover, the control panel reads in data from all the devices in the FDnet, so that fire detection is possible even in the construction phase, e. g. for partial areas that need protecting from an early stage.

Simple operation quickly and easy access to all functions.

Dangerous situations are stressful situations. But they demand the right response, quickly. To ensure that this happens, safety technology must be easy to understand and intuitive to operate. With fire control panels, it must be possible to see at a glance which operating steps are required. Furthermore the control panels must support the responsible operators by providing them with further instructions.

Standardized operating concept that is easy to learn

All FCnet stations follow a standardized operating concept. They are also based on the same hardware and software platform, which means greater operating safety with less training.

Intuitive operation reliable reaction

The operation of all FCnet stations is simple, ergonomic and self-explanatory, thanks to a logical, menu-driven user interface. Interactive, dialog-based procedures ensure ease of use. Standard keys are available for the Acknowledge, Reset and Silence buzzer functions, allowing users to scroll easily and conveniently through message lists. In this way, alarms can be quickly and easily switched off at the control panels. Furthermore, operating modes can also be changed, and the location of events positively identified. In the event of an alarm, intervention texts with instructions make it easier to instigate the correct reaction.

Improved safety through remote control

The control panels can be accessed via Ethernet and a standard PC using the PC software SintesoView for remote system operation. You can display messages, alerts or alarms on your PC. You can also use the PC to check system status and open fire doors, view past events and switch fire breaks back on after construction work. The functionality of the PC software SintesoView corresponds exactly to the operating of the control panels. For maximum possible safety, remote operation must always be enabled locally. The Ethernet performs the function of a router. The connection is handled through a single control panel that is configured as the central access point.

Different user profiles with individual rights

To allow individual modifications for situations involving several users, different access rights can be defined for different user profiles as stipulated in standard EN54.
