Dear Business Leader: For over 43 years, the Bluegrass Junior Womans Club of Lexington has been committed to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged women, children, and families in central Kentucky through volunteerism and fundraising. We would like to invite you to become a partner in our effort to support our community by sponsoring our summer fundraiser Horseshoe, Hops, and Hope, a casual night of BBQ, lawn games, and a silent auction at the Red Miles historic Round Barn on Saturday June 22, 2013. The proceeds from Horseshoe, Hops, and Hopes will be used to fund our Clubs many communi community ty projects with a portion of the nights proceeds going specifically to the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program - an advocacy agency committed to ending intimate partner abuse and its impact on families and our community. We hope that you will review the enclosed sponsorship packet and include support for this event in your company philanthropic plans. Some benefits of sponsorship include company logo on invitations that will be sent to over 450 households, logo and link to company website from online in invitation and the site of ticket purchase, purchase complimentary tickets, VIP or reserved seating, and signage acknowledging sponsors at the event. A list of beneficiaries from funds raised at previous Bluegrass Junior Womans Club fundraisers is also included in the package. The Bluegrass Junior Womans Club (BJWC) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization so sponsorships are tax deductible. We were extremely proud that we were able to return 100% of our net revenue from our fundraiser last year to the community through our club projects and a $4000 donation to the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program. Overall, in 2012 BJWC donated over $16,800 and many volunteer hours to local charitable organizations, , such as Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program, Childrens Advocacy Center, and many more.
