Some extra stuff, but important stuff!

1) This test is pretty straight forward, but be sure to follow one very simple rule: Read all questions CAREFULLY (I would suggest at least 2 times!) 2) Do your best to MEMORIZE as many drug names as you can, but I would strongly suggest you do this by DRUGCLASS! -For example, study Beta-blocker drug-names as a group , then move on to ACE-inhibitor drug-names, NSAID drug-names, etc. 3) Even though Unit-6 deals with analgesics/antipyretics/musculoskeletal relaxants, there may be a few questions that deal with previously covered material on Cholesterol and Hypertension drugs! 4) REMEMBER THIS !! if the drug-name is CAPITALIZED, it is the drugs BRAND name! also many cases there will be something in the BRAND name that refers to what the drug does! On the other hand, if the drug name is in lower-case, then this is the generic name and youll want to pay especially close attention to how the generic name ends

(for example, beta-blockers generic names end in -olol, whereas the ACE-inhibitors names end with -pril, etc.), because this suffix will give you a strong clue as to what drug-class it belongs to --- This is more help than you might think!
