Print this page and next on CARDSTOCK. Cut out each piece on solid black lines. Stack together with cover on top and secure on the right side with a brass brad. If desired, laminate these pieces before assembling book so that your student can write and rewrite the facts with a dry erase marker.

Print this page and next page on CARDSTOCK. Cut out The Five Family rectangle as one piece. Using a craft knife, cut around the solid lines on each box. Fold them up, using the dotted lines as your guide. When you are finished, you will have ten windows. Cut out the rectangle on the next page. Add thin strips of glue to the gray areas. Glue the two pieces together. Write answers under the windows.

Print this page on CARDSTOCK. Cut out the two pieces. Using a craft knife, cut the slits on the slider piece. Carefully put the top of the equation strip under the top slit on the slider. Your student should be able to move the slider up and down the strip to reveal the problems. He can say the answers as he goes. Glue only the very top and very bottom of the equation strip to your lapbook.
Laminate this page, if desired. Cut out each piece and glue to your lapbook. If pieces are laminated, your student can use a dry erase marker to write the facts (then he can wipe them off and write them on again!).

Cut out pocket as one piece. Fold back up. Fold side flaps around the back and glue them down. Cut out cards. Write answers on the backs of the cards. Store cards in pocket.
