STUDENT TEACHING CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS 8TH GRADE U.S. HISTORY CLASS Student teacher at Edison Middle School while under the supervision of an experienced teacher. Helped facilitate the classroom, build relationships with the students, grade assignments, and attend discipline, team, and content meetings. Will design lesson plans, teach multiple lessons, and complete a full take over for six weeks in April. EDUCATIONAL OBSERVATION CHAMPAIGN-URBANA AREA, ILLINOIS Ninety hours of student observation at Urbana High School, Edison Middle School, and Danville High School. Observed teacher strategies, techniques, and methods in all aspects of their teaching. Observed multiple relationships between teachers, students, administrators, community members, and parents. Also completed fifty hours of tutoring at Urbana Middle School where I helped students with assignments and assessments, as well as helped with the after school program. CAMPUS RECREATION CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS Facility Manager (May 2012-current)-Manage both Campus Recreation facilities, manage 100+ staff, open & close buildings, and handle customer service issues. CPR, BBP, and First Aid certified. Customer Service Assistant (December 2011 May 2012) - Handle customer service issues. Facility Assistant (August 2010 December 2011)-Swiping patrons in & cleaning machines.

ECIRMAC REFUGEE CENTER URBANA, ILLINOIS Volunteer and presenter. Service learning project that helped new refugees learn healthy eating habits and the local bus routes.
