In addition to the signings, book sales (20% of proceeds benet our schools), and other fun, many authors and illustrators will do twenty-minute readings, art demonstrations, and draw-alongs as part of the celebration. 2:25 Award-winning author Maria Padian will read from her collection of novels for middle/high schoolers.

2:45 Megan Blakemore Frazier will read from her new and much lauded fantasy for middle graders, The Water Castle.

3:05 Historian Mary Morton Cowan will share excerpts from her works of nonction about Arctic explorer Capt.Donald Baxter MacMillan.

4:05 Bryce Moore will read from his rst novel, Vodnik, a compelling fantasy mixing folklore and teen wit. 4:25 Accomplished as a writer, artist, and cartoonist, Ed Briant will entertain with his cartooning demonstration. (Intended for older students)
