May 13, Mon-Ministry Team Meeting, 6 p.m., Board of Elders Meeting at 7 p.m. Thanks for your prayers for these meetings. If you have questions, encouragement, suggestions, etc. for our church, please share them with the ministry team. Your input is welcomed. May 15, Wed.-District Sewing Circle will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church in the morning and afternoon. Everyone is welcome to come for the entire time, or just a few hours. This is the month for our covered dish lunch. Please bring a hot or cold dish to share with the group. Place settings and drink are provided. The project for May is Hygiene (formerly called Health) Kits. Contents include 1 adult size toothbrush, 1 squeeze tube toothpaste (min. 6 oz.), 1 large bar bath soap, 1 good quality fingernail clipper and 1 dark colored hand towel. Items should be new and in their original packaging. Sewing Circle will place the items in appropriate bags and see that they are taken to MCC for distribution to needy people around the world. Thank you for helping! May 15, Wed.-Youth Group meeting at the church at 7 p.m. May, 19, Sun. - New members will be welcomed as well as a Service of Baptism for Rebecca Horning and Katie Swatski. May 24, Fri.-Coffeehouse- an evening where everyone is encourage to participate and do things like sing, read a favorite scripture, do a skit, slide show etc. If you know ahead of time what you are doing let Darrell know so we can start to organize the evening. -Are you interested in a special prayer focus for Muslims during the month of the Muslim Fast? This is a time many Muslims earnestly seek God. If you want to receive the 30-Day Prayer Guide, sign your name on the paper on the table in the foyer. Happy Birthday!
