school students. Employ behavioral modification techniques. Plan
and lead weekly Adventure Based Counseling activities, including

Manice Education Center, Florida, MA May 2001 – September 2002


Field Teacher and Assistant Director
 As a Field Teacher, taught outdoor environmental lessons to
economically disadvantaged public school students from New York
City at a residential environmental education center in the Berkshires.
Responsible for supervising tent groups of six boys each, and
ensuring the safety of students on lessons and hikes. Ensured the
delivery of safe high-quality environmental education programs in
accord with center philosophy and established policies and
procedures.
 When promoted to Assistant Director, supervised eight Field
Teachers, planned and facilitated staff training and on-going staff
development activities, developed and distributed evaluation forms to
all students and staff members, and recruited and interviewed
students for summer programs.
