Paperless Document Managing and Sharing

Presto! PageManager 8 Professional Edition is a complete document and page management program for corporate and business users. It is an efficient tool for easily converting piles of papers and photos into a digital format that you can easily find, edit, use, and share.

2 Document Pallet
You can drag files from different folders to the Document Pallet, a temporary holding area for the selected files. Then send them all to a folder, e-mail server, or any application in your workflowin the origin formats or in PDF format.

3 Embedded Microsoft Office viewer

This viewer lets you browse through Microsoft Office documents. There is no need to start Microsoft Office or even have it installed. Presto! PageManager will let you view these files. (Windows only)

4 Presto! Scan Buttons

This button combines the action. Presto! Scan Buttons will scan to E-mail, scan to Folder, scan to Microsoft Office, scan to PDF, or any designated application. It is compliant with all TWAIN scanners, has simplex and duplex scan handling capabilities, and can support ADF (Automatic Document Feeder).

5 File Stacking
Stack files to group related files even those in different formats. Once stacked, the files will be like a single, multi-page document. Just click on the icon and all of them will open.

6 Auto-Cropping
Automatically crop multiple business cards or photos that are scanned in one image. There is no limitation for position and rotation angle (other than keeping about a half an inch between cards and from the scan-area margins).

Network Sharing
The Network Group function allows you to scan files to network folders and share or exchange information among connected group members.

PDF Compression Options

PageManager provides these options for converting images into PDF files. Lossless (LZW/G4): Choose this option, and documents will be kept as clear as the original and no degradation will occur during compression. Lossy (JPEG): Choose this option to have the documents compressed in a generally efficient way. Mixed: Choose this option to preserve the text as clear as the original and compress the images.

Automatic Form Dispatching

Form Dispatching speeds up filing and sorting by sending scanned forms to the folders of the appropriate category. You can define one or more templates for each form as a standard to detect the category that a form belongs to. Documents will be saved automatically into the proper folder for each category.

Support for Lotus Notes

PageManager lets you import or export Lotus Notes database files. The supported file formats include TXT, HTML, PCX, TIFF, BMP, GIF, and JPEG.

PageManager PDF Writer

The PageManager PDF writer can act as a virtual printer, print PDF document from most of the windows applications.

Define Document Inbox

A folder can be selected as an inbox for regularly checking whether mail, network folders, or faxes have come into the system or fax folder. PageManager monitors incoming documents and moves them to this document inbox folder.

Support for Microsoft SharePoint 2001, 2003, and 2007

You can transfer documents from your computer to a Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server just by dragging them to the icon.

Quick Links
You can drag frequently-used folders to the Quick Links area. This creates shortcuts to the folders dragged here. You can right-click to open, rename, or remove the shortcuts without affecting the referenced folders.
