Musical cues are indicated either through notated score, or through
verbal indications for improvisations, which are found in BOXED
TEXT.
Certain cues are intended to be improvised while interacting with the
drama. Each musician has a role as an actor within the play. Cues are
indicated either by the movement title or by dialog lines within the
score.
This score was originally workshopped with the cast and musicians,
and so the final performance contained minor differences from the
written score.

Guidelines for "Strange Watery Noises"
These cues should feel sparse and empty. The sound should feel quite
dirty and contain as few pure notes as possible. This should be
impovised by these performers, alternating between units, rather
than all playing at the same time.

Appendix II
Guidlines for "String Room Music"
This cue is more straightforward. The sounds
should be as clean as possible, with natural
harmonics ringing out with as much space around
them as possible. The order, choice and length of all
harmonics is up to the musicans, and the length of
